The Ritz-Carlton Osaka

We were very disappointed with our stay at the Ritz-Carlton Osaka. While the hotel itself is beautiful, the service experience did not meet the expectations we have for this brand.

Throughout our stay we were unable to secure reservations for drinks or dinner at the hotel’s restaurants or bars. In fact, there is no lobby bar in which to just stop and have a drink or meet friends. I e never experienced such a situation before in my travels. When we asked for assistance in finding a place to meet up with our family (all staying at the hotel), staff suggested that we go to another hotel for drinks instead, which was surprising for a luxury property.

Because of this, we ended up eating most of our meals through room service rather than enjoying the hotel’s dining venues. Room service took 40-50 minutes to arrive, which wasn’t ideal!

Overall, the lack of access to dining and limited support from staff made the stay frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, it did not reflect the level of service we typically expect from the Ritz-Carlton.

Excellent breakfast top notch hotel

One of the best experiences that I have had as a consistent traveler. The staff was amazing as were the food and accommodations. We even ran into some issues regarding some booking errors and they were absolutely incredible in resolving the issues. My wife and I spent time celebrating our 30 year anniversary here and they made it a very memorable experience. One of the best hotels that I have stayed at and highly recommend.

Amazing hotel. Very Chic. Super convenient. You can access train station and shopping malls from underground from the hotel. Staff is always trying to help and make sure you enjoy Osaka at it's fullest. Special mention to our Concierge Sara who took good care of us and sent us in many amazing restaurants.

Everything is prefect at the hotel . We stayed for 3 nights . The service was exceptional ,the room is very clean and staff members are all very polite we feel very welcomed . Specially we met Sara at Concierge she was extremely helpful with our request. She spent time to help us and patiently to explain us in the detail she also waled us to the restaurant we will have the dinner that night . Her welcome greeting and professional hospitality is very well appreciated.

This property is something special…..the amount of quality artwork that’s part of this property is astonishing. I want to give a shoutout to the concierge who gave the English speaking art tour who gave painstaking details of the origins of each of the artwork and furniture that adorn this fantastic hotel. The room quality was also high. Super comfortable corner room, wonderful finishes right down to the carpet and crystal lamps. The Ritz Carlton pastry shop also had some of the best pastries I had while in Japan, absolutely delicious. Elegance personified if you want an elevated stay.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable and heartfelt. Every detail felt intentional, warm, and elevated, creating an experience that was both luxurious and personal. The property itself is stunning, blending classic elegance with comfort in a way that makes you feel instantly at home while still completely indulged.
One of the absolute highlights of our stay was meeting Simon Finch, who was incredibly gracious and generous with his time. He even took us on a bike tour of Osaka, which was such a unique and memorable way to experience the city. It’s rare to encounter leadership so genuinely engaged with guests — it made our trip feel even more special.
We also had the pleasure of dining at their Michelin-starred restaurant, La Baie, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The cuisine, presentation, and service were all exceptional — easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had.
Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a destination that delivers elegance, world-class dining, and truly personalized hospitality, this is it. A flawless experience and the most incredible way to welcome a new decade.

Osaka was one of the cities that we visited for my husband's birthday. He chose the city and the hotel. The Ritz -Carlton, Osaka is a classically elegant hotel. Our room was on the 36th floor and had expansive views of the city. The next best thing about the hotel is its location. From the basement, there is a network of paths to metro stations and a multitude of stores. I would give it a 5-stars+++ for the staff and our concierge, Sara.

The hotel is so elegant and the service is outstanding. Special compliments to Sara at concierge.
The room was spacious with a spectacular view and we enjoyed the breakfast each morning.
The gym and spa are excellent. Very accessible to shopping at the Osaka Train Station.

Thank You!! The ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz Carlton Osaka made my son’s 20th birthday celebration one he will remember forever. The care each and everyone gave towards him and my family are truly what sets them apart from any other hotel in Osaka. Highly recommend

Where do I start? I know where to start the staff ! They are amazing always super friendly anytime we needed anything they went above & Beyond, they have a piano bar on the 5th floor highly recommend that! Also their Concierge gave us good recommendations to places to eat over all super happy

The Ritz-Carlton, Osaka truly embodies the pinnacle of the Ritz-Carlton brand. I could feel the elegance, dignity, warmth, and courtesy in every aspect of the hotel's facilities and its staff. It even inspired me to strive to be a guest worthy of such a prestigious brand.
​In particular, Ms. Mana Ichise at the check-in counter welcomed me warmly in Japanese, English, and Korean. My stay, which began with her wonderful first greeting, was perfectly concluded by the farewell message she thoughtfully left with her colleague. I look forward to the day we meet again.
