It was amazingly nice. The atmosphere is what you expect from the Ritz: the artwork, the scent, the service. Speaking of service, Nakano and Darlyss provided excellent service in the breakfast place (Splendid-O). AXL at the concierge desk went out of his way to help with a flight issue I had. Also? The view we had was amazing. Finally, The Bar was a really cool atmosphere to relax and have a drink. I wish I could remember the name of our waiter there also. He was excellent.
It was the best hotel we stayed during our trip in Japan! The service was outstanding, everyone who works there are very attentive and makes you feel comfortable and happy. They prepared a special gift for our daughter’s birthday, and we were feeling like a royalty. Everything was just perfect! The location of the hotel is central, but away from hustle and bustle. The food at the breakfast was great, but restaurants at the hotel are very expensive. Room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. We booked the corner room and the view was amazing! They also have a very nice bar on the top floors with great cocktails and really nice atmosphere!
We definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay again! Thanks very much!
早餐不错,酒店位置可以,装修很有复古的感觉

True luxury.
Takeshi Haru and Simon French in management are a pleasure.
Takeshi Haru helped me contact my Caribbean bank when i had opportunities with my credit cards and escorted me to an ATM as well.
Afterwards him and his team escorted me to the room which was glorious.
The room had several amenities that you expect with a Ritz-Carlton and you could truly see that this is a Forbes five-star establishment.
The welcome was warm, they knew and used my name.
Ooh and the bath salt menu in the room is to die for!
The dining venues offer a range of varieties.
チェックイン時は、とても混んでましたが、従業員の方の対応が良く、気にかけてくれてるのが分かりました。
また、レストランでのスタッフさんとの会話も楽しかったです。
ありがとうございました。
1 The Ritz-Carlton Osaka delivered a fantastic stay, with the room quality and staff service standing out as the highlights.
2- Rooms: Spacious, elegant, and meticulously appointed — the kind of comfort that makes you want to extend your stay.
3- Staff: Consistently warm, attentive, and professional — service that truly lives up to the Ritz-Carlton name.
4- Location: Extremely central, making it easy to access Osaka's key attractions, dining, and shopping without hassle.
5- Overall: A polished, high-quality stay that I'd happily recommend to anyone visiting Osaka
1- the breakfast quality could have been better considering this is the ritz (not bad but could have been better)

A bit oldy
Crowdy at breakfast
Took the family and stayed for 5 nights. Before flying to Japan, I had contacted the concierge and they had already suggested and booked all the restaurants we wanted to visit. The customer service by the concierge was truly next level before and during our stay. The hotel is of course amazing… rooms, restaurants, staff, etc. But the concierge is what really differentiates this hotel and made our stay really special. Thanks!!
Stayed at the Osaka Ritz-Carlton for 4 nights. My wife, 2 kids, and I had a great stay. Our rooms were very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and spa. The club lounge was our second home – a great place to spend time, especially given how hot it was during the day. The staff were outstanding – super helpful and very attentive. Big shout out to the Director of Loyalty Mr. Simon Finch who made sure that unforeseeable problems when making our hotel reservations using the Marriott Bonvoy Elite Guest Services Line did not ruin our vacation.
Hotel well situated – just walk straight out of the hotel to an underground walkway that takes you to nearby department stores (Hankyu), restaurants, 7-11, and train lines. Easy to get from hotel to most places in Osaka – to get around half the time we used trains and half the time Uber/Taxis. Osaka a good location for day trips to nearby mountain temples. We hope to one day return to Osaka and we’ll stay at this hotel again.
Everything! The amazing staff, the classic decor, and the delicious afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge!
Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Our rooms were a really good size and had fantastic city views. The female concierge, Sara, was wonderful and very helpful.
Very little but if I had to choose anything it would be the little touches that we’ve experienced at previous hotels during turndown that didn’t happen here.
I can’t say enough about the amazing service and support my family received while our stay at the Osaka Ritz Carlton.
We had a family emergency with our daughter while traveling outside of Osaka. We messaged the hotel while on a train back to the city asking for recommendations to a clinic and English speaking doctor’s.
By the time we got back to the hotel they had a place for us 10 mins away, drove us to the clinic and helped us get check in and seen. It turned out to be a stomach issue and the clinic they recommended had our daughter fixed up in two hours.
From the Hotel General Manager, Security, Hospitality manager and Executive Chief my deepest appreciation you over & above compassionate and concerned for our wellbeing will never be forgotten.
I’ve been a loyal customer to Marroitt for many decades and I’m great full I was on this trip.
Thanks to all at the Osaka Ritz Carlton you’re the best!
I stayed at the Ritz for 2 months for work nearby and it was an incredible experience! The staff was always so sweet and accommodating and the room/food service was incredible. They even have complimentary bike and art tours! Simon was an incredible tour guide and we biked to Osaka Castle and back. He told me all about the history of the area and some great coffee shops around! Attached are some pictures from the bike tour!
My family and I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Osaka this summer. The hotel is beautiful and the service was fantastic. We were fortunate enough to spend time in the Club and the manager there Remi Abe made our experience so wonderful. She is such a warm and kind human being who helped plan some of our activities and went out of her way to make sure my family had a great visit. She is a great leader of her team in the club and such an asset to this amazing hotel. Thank you for making our trip so memorable. We will be back.
We stayed one night in April 2025 with our one-year-old son, timing the trip around the Osaka Expo. The booking was made with Marriott Bonvoy points as a Platinum Elite member, in a guest room with a king bed.
What struck me first was the acoustics. Umeda is one of the busiest districts in Japan, yet the moment you step inside, the volume of the outside world drops away. The interiors follow the classical English manor style the hotel has kept for decades. It is not the bright, open, minimalist luxury that many newer properties chase, and some travellers will find it dated. For a family travelling with a small child, however, a place where you can decelerate quietly is worth more than contemporary styling.
The room itself is not the newest in the city, but the mattress quality and the sound insulation are still at a high level. We never heard corridor noise during the long process of getting our son to sleep. A wooden crib with padded rails was waiting for us, and even with the crib and the bench at the foot of the bed, three people could move around the room without the floor plan becoming congested.
The highlight was the Ritz Kids setup, which we arranged separately in advance. A teepee tent was pitched by the window, with a lantern, a felt campfire and a compass-patterned rug in front of it. Effectively, a small campsite appears inside your room. Our son had only just started walking, and an entrance sized exactly to his height was all it took to keep him occupied. It carries an additional cost and requires booking several days ahead, but if you want the stay itself to be the main event of a trip, it earns its price.
Breakfast is served at Splendido on the lobby floor. The setting is Tuscan, but the Japanese offering is unexpectedly complete: rice with mentaiko, chirimen-jako, shio-kombu and umeboshi, grilled fish, chilled tofu and pickles from a long-established Osaka producer. Sparkling wine is poured from the morning, which changed the mood of our final day entirely.
To be fair, the intensity of the service and the polish of the breakfast fell a step behind other Ritz-Carlton properties I have stayed at in Japan. Part of that is simply the weight of expectation the name carries. The location and the depth of the experience programmes remain clear advantages.

Wow! What a stay (3 nights) for our family of 4. We booked 2 Club level Rooms; 1 was a Suite.
We arrived in Osaka via Shinkansen. It was a short cab ride away from bliss. Adding Club access to the rooms was well worth it. You check in on the Club floor. Most pleasant check-in ever as you relax in the lounge while they take care of your paperwork and getting the bags to your room. No waiting in line, lovely food and drinks as there is an incredible selection of food options waiting for you; the only way to check in to a hotel.
Our rooms were on the 32nd floor with a great view (Club is on 34). Our bags were waiting in our rooms. Both rooms were large and well appointed. The Suite especially large with lots of space to unwind and relax. You have an expansive view of the city. The pool was a great afternoon escape to get in a few laps and relax in the jacuzzi. The gym is very well stocked with equipment including free-weights and racks for more serious workouts.
Having Club Room access is such a luxurious treat. There is food and drinks available for you from 7:00 AM to 9:30 PM with a few short transition breaks in between while they switch over the food for the time of day. Breakfast was a must each day with options for Western and Japanese style breakfasts. There's just so much food... Depending on our daily travels, we would stop in for a late lunch, quick snack, tea and even enjoyed a night cap overlooking the city.
Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Everyone there really wants you to enjoy your stay. Such a welcome change from business travel in the US. The gourmet shop on the first floor is a must stop for treats to take back or on the plane ride. Since we had club access we didn't try any of the restaurants on site, but all looked great.
While the hotel is a splurge for most, the value for what we spent was incredible. The same rooms in other cities would have been twice as much.
Location wise, you are a short cab ride from most anything in the city. We didn't take the train that much, but it was just a 4 minute walk from the hotel.
Loved our Stay! Can't wait to return! (Japan is Amazing BTW)
