Great hotel until the military police takeover
Pros:

The staff at this hotel is absolutely top class. Every person we have interacted with on each of our five visits has been kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. This establishment is also immaculately clean and well-appointed in terms of amenities. For the past year, it has been our home away from home when we visit our children enrolled at the University of Memphis. Sadly, this trip will be our last stay at the Sanderlin Doubletree due to the 24-hour presence of military police in the hotel lobby. My family will stay elsewhere during future visits.

Convenient location in east Memphis
Pros:

Great location in east Memphis off Poplar Avenue inside I-240.
Great atmosphere with excellent restaurant, especially the grilled pork chop.
