Comfortable and close to downtown. Free parking, convenient and clean
It's in a great location, within walking distance to Pearl Street. There are also a couple of places to eat super close. It's a converted motel so the vibe is interesting. There reception area is nice with a place to sit and eat. The food/bar place seemed closed when I was there as no one was operating it but overall nice vibe. There's also a hangout room with board games and I think ping pong. Plus, an outside space with a bonfire. The room was spacious. It had a seating area and kitchenette plus a work table. It was nicely decorated and clean. Jonathan was super friendly and helpful. I had an online class and he managed to get me in the room earlier and said he placed me in a room with great wifi.
There's an adjoining door to the next room I believe that's locked of course, but I could hear the person having a conversation as if they were in the same room so that was a bit annoying. It would be nice if they could figure out how to soundproof that. Luckily, I could teach my class online and the first time it went well but the second time the internet was a bit weak and I couldn't connect my phone to the internet. It worked out, but I'm surprised the internet wasn't that strong.
Location is perfect to downtown.
Had a fun game room and onsite laundry. The room was cute and comfortable. The pillows were firm and the bed was comfortable. The sleep was a lot more comfortable than my recent stay at a Doubletree.
The only issues I had was the faucet wouldn’t stop dripping unless you had it in the perfect spot and the air conditioner was really loud.
Check in was simple. The room was spacious and comfortable.
Not one thing!
They have an indoor hot tub and cute decor for a motel.
it's a motel. No microwave. No regular coffee maker in the room (like camping coffee making) and they run out of the free lobby coffee and won't refill as of 11am. And the bathroom area in the first floor room 101 is as bad as a cheap motel's. It's a cute spot but overpriced for a motel.
Good location. Enjoyed the hot tub.
It's definitely an old Days Inn (or similar) that's been converted to look more independent and quirky. The room was a little rough around the edges. The carpet could definitely use replacing, and the bathroom setup was very cramped. The "rec room," which is advertised prominently, was completely closed because a group had rented it out.
The room size and comfort of the room and bed.
The sink faucet needs to be replaced.
We had a fantastic stay at Basecamp Boulder and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to CU Boulder, Folsom Field, and Pearl Street, which made it easy to explore without worrying about transportation. What truly made the experience special was the team. Jon was there in the morning and made excellent coffee, plus he gave us a great breakfast recommendation that we loved. In the evening, Melina and Kyra were so welcoming and attentive, making the space feel warm and relaxed. Melina suggested the margarita on tap and the s’mores, and both were delicious. The entire staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, and it really made a difference. We would definitely return.
Love the friendly staff, the location was good.
Beds were uncomfortable, room lighting was poor.
The hot tub and sauna were on point. The rooms were super clean. Hosts were friendly, helpful and quick to communicate with!
Lovely staff and cute rooms
The location, bonfires and the small, well stocked bar are excellent. But the bed... it's sooo comfortable!!
The bathroom is tiny and only has the light with the loud fan. I could hear the people above me snoring. And their music was loud. I was surprised how loud the upstairs room sounded in my room.
