雨降りの中建物への通路が水没しており、靴がずぶ濡れになって大変だった。フロントからの注意もなかった。
部屋のティッシュペーパーが無くなったのでフロントに言ったところ、トイレットペーパーを渡された。
2階建てでエレベーターは無く、スーツケースを運ぶのが少し大変だった。

The staff was the best.
Internet was TERRIBLE. Almost non-existent.
This place is next to the beach, costal pathway and a village of ABC store and number of restaurants close by. The room is big with a great view on the second floor, but no elevators. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes and valet parking. It is also close to some sights we wanted to visit. There are nice music going every night. The hot tub is available on the premise.
Wish it is easier to park without using Valet Parking. We wish the wall insulation is better between rooms; we could hear our neighbor talking at 5am one morning. We wish there is another hot tub for visitors to use, the one we used was a little crowded.
I co-hosted a work reunion with people from all over the U.S. at this hotel for 5-nights in March 2026. As I was managing this reunion from Pennsylvania -- having absolutely no idea how this was all going to work out -- I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Kauai Shores exceeded not only my expectations, but all of the reunion attendees raved about this hotel in terms of the updated rooms (very clean and comfy), immaculate grounds/pools, customer service, valet service, location, and overall general ALOHA vibe of this hotel with its old-world charm and graciousness.
Kauai Shores offers so much more than just a hotel. Every staff member is committed to assisting with any questions or requests with much ALOHA! Guests really are made to feel at home and part of the ohana. One of the standout offerings -- imho -- is that there are water-bottle refill stations available. I am a big believer in reducing plastic waste. There is a restaurant right on the beach called Lava Lava with excellent food and service. It is actually one of the top-rated restaurants in Kauai. There are bicycles you can sign-out, morning yoga, and TWO swimming pools! There is also a walkway path along the beach that from start-to-finish takes about 1 hour. Some attendees did this every morning at 6:30 a.m. to see the sun rise. Great photo opportunity! This hotel is located next to an open mall area with a convenience store as well as other restaurants and shopping.

Finally, I will just say that whether you are traveling with family, friends, solo, partners, or for a reunion, this IS THE PLACE to stay. It is warm and welcoming. The guests were all very lovely and friendly. Kauai Shores is warm and inviting, and makes you feel welcome.

Great hotel. Very convenient.
So happy with our week long stay. From proximity to main road, cleanliness, size of standard room, two pools, jacuzzi, and being steps from the water this place was perfect. Check in/out process was simple and staff was so very friendly. They have free self and valet parking, free bike rentals on a first come first served bases, free yoga in the morning, and filtered water refill stations. One last thing this place is walking distance from coconut market place which has restaurants, shops and best of all an ABC store! It's also walking distance from Napali brewing, passion bakery cafe and other great places!
We truly enjoyed our week here. The location was great in a very of ways...on the beach, on the island, which made it easy to get to other parts of the island, easy to find from airport. The yoga every morning on the beach was great, as was the bikes to ride along the great coastal path. The restaurant and bar were convenient for any meal or drink after going out, and the nightly music was wonderful, and diverse. The staff was warm and friendly and helpful. We loved just chilling on the beach.
Even though the hotel was full, I never felt the "touristy" crowded vibe that is usually on the islands. The layout and pace was so relaxing and welcoming. A great find.
