Very clean, very fun experience. Really enjoyed it.
A lil expensive but other than that it was great!
Die Lage war sehr gut. Der Lava Lava Beach Club versorgte uns gut an unserem ersten Abend.
Die Bar und das Restaurant hat schon um 21:00 Uhr geschlossen.
Die Gäste konnten jedoch noch bis 22:00 Uhr den Whirlpool nutzen.
Noisy and unsafe
Our room door didn’t lock
People were banging on our door as they walked past - it was so noisy late at night during quiet time. No point escalating to reception because by the time we did the people had moved on.
The door didn’t lock and the reception didn’t seem to care or want to help us move into a room that was secure
Kauai Shores was a very cute place. We were coming to Kauai and wanted to stay on the East side. We had reservations from a couple reviews knowing the hotel had been remodeled. But we were pleasantly surprised, the atmosphere was cute, clean, and the staff was very friendly. One night we came back and there were no self parking spots open, so we drove up to valet and they parked it no issue. This was extremely nice. Roof repairs are going on at the moment but they were during the day and ended early so they didn’t ruin any ambiance really. Lava Lava Beach Club was delicious also. We would definitely stay here again! Nice little hidden gem.
We were a grandmother and 30 year old granddaughter, different generations delighting in the 70s vibe. Our accommodations were top notch and relaxing by oceans edge was sublime. We ate most meals at restaurant as we decided after first one, we wouldn't find better food. Would recommend an excellent Thai, Myanmar. Beds were comfortable. All seemed recently updated. Landscaping was beautiful and enjoyed music in late afternoon.
Delayed due to airline troubles, called the front desk and the lady said to call deltas 1800 number if I wanted to change reservations

We had a great stay at the Kauai Shores hotel. Everyone is super friendly, the rooms very clean, filtered water dispensers were wonderful, ice machines, and the proximity to restaurants and shopping. We didn't want to leave and we hope to return!
Internal is newer renovation and clean. Parking is easy and convenient!
The building and outdoor facilities are older.
This was our second stay at Kauai Shores, we visited October 2025 and came back May 2026 and loved it again! We like the location with great variety of restaurants nearby (recommend Naisla!) and find it easy to visit south shore or north shore. The room is great and we love the small kitchenette for early breakfast before heading out on adventures. The free hotel bikes are fun - nice trails along the coast! The beach is quiet and we could always get pool chairs or beach chairs too - also took advantage of the free beach yoga in the mornings. Since we booked with Expedia we ended up getting a free room upgrade and bottle of wine during check in too!
