This was the absolute WORST hotel I have ever been in. Room was like a sauna, moisture running down the windows. Bathtub was black and the faucet would not shut off. Lights did not work. We are by no means hotel snobs, but this was awful! Tried a second room, same thing. Priceline has this as a 3 star hotel....would not give it a one. We requested to be given a refund and they did agree. Desk clerk said hotel is in the middle of shutting down and many rooms are unusable. Don't walk, RUN!!!! I feel horrible for the staff that is still there.
Comfy bed
No hot water security was lacking luster on 2nd floor there was roof access 230am people were on roof stairing in room. Car was broken into front desk said this never happens but police said it was 5th time in as many days
Great affordable hotel in Downtown Olympia
The comfortable bed
The smoke smell, tub paint was peeling, bugs in room including 3 spiders, hallway was dirty, other guests smelled like weed, etc.
The name with "Governor" in it sounded good but was far from it. It was a distraction from the poor inside.
Location was great. the staff seemed very professional yet regular and approachable. Breakfast was great. One website says 12 noon check out another 11 I didn't get in trouble or anything so no biggie
Leaving I could have stayed at least a week
Clean rooms and room service.
The area; the unsecured parking lot for vehicles. No cameras at the parking lot to reassure customers vehicle safety.
Would like to have more variety with the breakfast. I also would like it if they start serving hot breakfast Eggs bacon that would be nice 😋
Some of the none smoking smell like smoking rooms that needs to be addressed.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. This was hands down one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had. They knowingly rent out rooms with no air conditioning, and when I complained, the only answer was “just open a window.” That alone is unacceptable, but it only got worse from there.
The entire room was filthy and rundown. The carpets were lumpy and stained, the tub was peeling, and the furniture was dirty and grimy. There was a musty odor in the room and hallways, like nothing had been properly cleaned in months. The bathroom was disgusting — I found hair in the sink and shower, mildew around the tub, and even the towels looked stained.
The “cleaning” was clearly surface-level at best. Dust was built up on lamps, corners, and the headboard, while the floors were sticky and dirty. The bedding looked worn out with questionable stains, which made me not even want to touch the bed. To top it off, there were crumbs and trash left from whoever stayed before me, a rattling, filthy mini-fridge, and yes — even bugs crawling around.
I was so uncomfortable that I honestly considered sleeping in my car instead, and I probably would have gotten a better night’s sleep there. This place is run-down, gross, and clearly managed by people who don’t care about basic cleanliness, comfort, or honesty.
Do yourself a favor — DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Spend your money anywhere else.
Very disappointed with this hotel. Not only did the room have no air conditioning — something the staff clearly knew about — but the only “solution” offered was to open a window. On top of that, the carpets were lumpy and stained, the tub was peeling, and the furniture was dirty. The overall condition made me so uncomfortable I almost chose to sleep in my car instead. Definitely not worth the stay or trouble
