It’s a quaint place, better beds for sure, better breakfast
Pros:

The location was perfect! Parking in Wimberly is difficult, the location made it easy to just walk to the square and enjoy the town. Breakfast was awful. I would choose another bakery, And free breakfast usually doesn’t consist of a muffin and cup of coffee. We don’t even finish the breakfast it was dry and tastes like it had set out for too many days .

Cons:

The bed was way too soft , 2 people in the bed it sunk in the middle. I finally got up and slept on the couch.

Pros:

The downsides... - the room has an odor. Musty. All our clothes in our suitcase smelled musty when we left. The walls are too thin. If the room next to you is occupied, expect to hear everything. The upside - Rooms are spotless clean and property inside and out have been styled.

The location was GREAT! Walking distance to a great hidden gem restaurant, JPs Wimberley BBQ. Weather was too cold for the pool, but kids loved the hot tub. Bed was extremely comfortable, and the suite room was a great size for our family. Loved the yard area as well. Will definitely be back!

Cons:

There was a dog in the room next to us that barked all night.

We were very happy with our stay. The value for the cost was very good.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good with many choices. I had something I had never seen before: a bacon cheese scone and it was delicious. The bed was quite comfortable with the softest silkiest sheets. I was pleased to have a kitchen, all but a stove which I could have cared less about. The room was spacious and attractive. The location was also good, with convenient access to groceries, restaurants and shops.

Cons:

The sofa. It made a big noise, a bit like a whoopee cushion when we sat down. Also, we could not get the TV to change channels. Whatever I tried, it would default to a set-up screen and getting back to the one channel was not easy. There was no information provided to assist with using it.

It was clean. Fit our needs

Cons:

The door code that we were given did not work. After numerous tries I ended up calling a number from the email and thankfully the lady that answered gave us an emergency code to get in.. but it took awhile before we finally gained access. Very frustrating! And no one on site to help.

The best hotel I've ever stayed in! The room was incredibly clean, all the amenities worked great, and the record player was such a fantastic, unexpected surprise. Yes, it's a 'no-contact' hotel that provides earplugs (neighbors were a bit loud), but that was a minor blip on an otherwise flawless stay. I was seriously impressed and will definitely be back!

Pros:

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Flora and Fauna this past weekend for a girls trip to Wimberley. It was perfect. It was quiet, had a pool, rooms were incredibly spacious, and it comes with one of the most comfy beds EVER! It was great to all be together but we each could have our own room. I loved having the hot tub. The pool is nothing fancy but nice and very shaded, bonus! The price is reasonable. Each room as a cute record player with actual records (+ bluetooth). The walk to and from city center can be a little dangerous though, as there are no sidewalks until about 1/2 and no lights at night. Cars do speed up and down that road. Besides that it was a WIN WIN for us!
