The breakfast was satisfactory. I also had a dinner meeting at their grill downstairs, and the food along with the service was very good.
For starters, the fan motor of the air conditioner made a horrendous sound, so I had to turn it off. Also, the bed smelled so bad that I was forced to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. I woke up at 2:30am, and was unable to go back to sleep. I am not one to complain, as I have used Booking.com for quite some time now and have had numerous positive experiences, but if there is anything you can do on your end to compensate me for a lackluster experience, I would greatly appreciate it.

The in house phone system did not seem to work. We were unable to contact the front desk or housekeeping from our room phone.
I had a horrible stay we checked in February 17 check out the 21. First night there was a roach in the bathtub. Long story short I was not asked to change rooms emailed manager multiple times and called I am still to hear from them. With photos included. At this point reached put to hilton I want a refund we kept thinking it would get better it didn't. We were there from 11;30 pm to 7am the rest of the time at Disney so you can imagine how exhausted we we're. Then to not even enjoy the restroom, breakfast or the microwave for that matter because of the roaches. This was not right they should have done better. I want to get refunded for this nightmare of a stay. Booking please help me get refunded for this.

Incompetent and unprofessional staff!
I liked the free breakfast and the variety of food they serve for guests during breakfast time. I liked the indoor pool, jacuzzi and the location of the hotel. I also liked having microwave and fridge in the room.
The number that was listed in the email to contact for any information does not work or nobody’s picking it up. I’ve called multiple times prior to arrival but nobody ever answered until I decided to call the main hotel number.
The phone and TV in the room does not work.
Some buttons on the elevators doesn’t work.
The pool water is cold
Towels are very rough and some have ripped and stained
The pull out bed mattress is the worst I’ve ever laid on, it’s like lying on a spring only with no mattress support.

We stayed at the hotel for one night before a cruise out of San Pedro. It is undergoing renovations which the website does tell you ahead of time but figured it was one night so couldn't be that bad. When I booked it originally, the site said done by January and as we were staying it said end of April which we were told would probably last for most of the year. As hard as they are trying, it probably would have made more sense to just close it for 6 months for six months and renovate. We got to the hotel early and staff was very accomodating to get us into a room. The first room, however, had no air conditioning working and was missing a few grill vents and didn't look at all like that was a room they had started renovating. They were able to change us to a different room but that bed made noise every time you sat on it but otherwise wasn't bad. The hot water was fantastic as well as the breakfast in the morning and the happy hour at night (even though the snacks are not really there anymore like they used to be). The elevators were hit or miss as far as if they were working or not, and one was totally down. As far as for a one night pre-cruise, I would still do it again at that location as they have a free shuttle from the airport and the drive to the cruise port was reasonable with Uber. I would wait till it's totally renovated before going back but they are trying.
there's a reason the rates are lower than other hotels in the area...
wifi is horrid. can't even stay connected long enough to read emails. and I am a hilton diamond member, so i am supposed to have enhanced wifi capabilities. Handicap parking has been blocked off because they are trimming the palm trees and leaving them laying all over the parking lot. Wifi couldn't stay connected long enough for me to submit this review.

Everything was old and rundown. The floor was warped by the bed. It had a significant slant. The slider door didn’t close properly. The bathroom was rusted.
The breakfast was pretty good. Omelets made to order, french toast, eggs, breads, some fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, and oatmeal bar. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
The building is old and needs a full renovation. Everything seems dirty and smelled very musty. It rained and our ceiling started leaking. We were eventually moved to a new room but only had one bed instead of two. Shower temp was either two hot or two cold. No safety lock on slider door to balcony. Balcony seemed downright dangerous to be out on. Phone did not work to call front desk. Elevator button lights did not work. Charged for parking but didnt have a car- was never asked charged anyway.

The room was cold and we were unable to adjust the temperature. We had to wear sweaters in the room and sleep with sweatshirts on. The room was old and not that clean.
