My wife and I simply loved it! Stunning hotel, stunning location, wonderful assistance from all the staff on the desk and in relation to booking a bost. Particular kudos to Mattia and Luca. Amazing!!!

The staff in the lounge bar were the nicest, most hospitable people and couldn't do enough for my wife and I. We just loved it, thank you so much!

Cons:

Considering the price of the room, other people making noise after hrs kept us from sleeping on our second night. Whilst you can't give people a noise curfew, if noise travels in the hotel (which I'm sure is known) perhaps a polite message like..... "due to the age of the hotel it is not completely sound proof and noise travells between corridors and rooms, we would politely request guests to keep noise to a minimum after 'X' o clock)

Schöne Lage exklusives Haus hat aber auch seinen Preis
Pros:

Tolle Lage direkt am See. Zum Frühstücksbuffet setzt man traumhaft und auch an der Bar. Am Abend ist es perfekt, ebenso fußläufig in die Stadt Como

Cons:

Das Zimmer war für den Preis schon sehr Kleinfenster öffnen in der Nacht war unmöglich

A stunning lakeside hotel in Como!
Pros:

Stunning hotel! We booked a superior lakeside room for three nights and it didn't disappoint. From our first walk through the doors, we knew this place was special. We were looked after by every employee, they were professional and polite. The room was perfect and waking up to the stunning scenery of lake Como ensured my wife had a special 50th birthday she/ we will never forget. The 20 minute walk from the hotel along the lake into Como wasn't an issue as you walk lakeside, past villas etc.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views and excellent staff.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. The service level was top notch. We had a superior room with a lake view balcony. It was a great spot to relax at the end of the day. Be careful of the blackout screens on the balcony. They work incredibly well as we slept in and almost missed the great breakfast buffet on our first day. The 1st room we were in, #307, had an incredibly small shower. We spoke to the staff at the front desk and they moved us to a different room the following day when another of the same room type was available. Shower was still small but much better than the first. It is about a 25 minute walk to Como but there is a ferry station about a 5 minute walk in the small town near the hotel. A bit pricey but we thought it was worth the money.

Relaxing & enchanting
Pros:

The view from our suite was incredible! I cant thank Mr. Mattia enough for the warm welcome & for his amazing hospitality. He was super friendly & always checking on us if we needed anything. For sure he made our stay extra special. Also the restaurant food was delicious.

Cons:

The TV felt a little outdated, having a smart TV with access to streaming apps would have been nice
