As always my home away from home
Pros:

The staff! Hands down the best staff in Sydney there is nothing they can’t do always a smile and hello, good morning etc and the other thing is of course location there are 18 restaurants and 5-6. Cafes within a 2-3 minute walk ! Managers are always so nice and a a regular client they really try to accommodate and show their appreciation for regulars that stay at the hotel rooms are luxurious and Beds plush! Coffee tea facilities are excellent!

We had dinner & drinks in the bar and the service for such an establishment was very average. Not enough staff catering for the guests and we waited a long time

Pros:

The staff are welcoming and attentive. In particular, Vanessa in valet is incredible - she remembered me and my mother from a stay 18 months ago.
I greatly appreciated the upgrade to a room overlooking the neighbourhood.
The rooms are very spacious. The linen is great.

Cons:

The furnishings are dated. the bath was marked - not dirty but a permanent mark.

Great location, lovely friendly staff, fantastic facilities
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The overall property facilities were beautiful - especially the foyer and the pool. Great location.

The room was a bit tired - quite a few marks on furniture and walls.

The Intercontinental Hotel - A Very Nice Stay in Double Bay
Pros:

Great location near the Ferry wharf and in the middle of Double Bay shopping area. Beauiful scenery. Room was large with balcony and great facilities in the bathroom.

It was our wedding anniversary and we were given a glass pf Bubbly and a lovely desert was delivered to our room.

Dated considering how much you pay
Found a cockroach in the room, housekeeping contacted and took after 20 minutes to turn up. Ended up dealing with it myself.
