Location, friendly helpful staff, lovely big bath towels , daily bedside water, room serviced beautifully each day
Breakfast was good and staff there were excellent
Roof shower head dripped cold water on u while using normal shower, staff had to be asked to come back and do rubbish and replace shower gel, paper thin walls could hear everything neighbours said. Asked for room change was told they’ll get back to me and they never did
Pool area was great but pool way to shallow for adults to have a swim ?
Over $3k Nz dollars for 4 nights in the middle if the week would have expected a better experience

I had an adjoining room/ an interconnecting door and I wasn’t told
Cleaning of the room was average and took two requests and their response was so slow
Room smelt like cigarette smoke and marijuana
We experience a great reception and check-in experience with excellent Ground & first floors setting, awesome roof top pool when you get it to yourself and we enjoyed the dinner, bar and breakfast settings and food.
The room is showing ageing signs.
overall cleanliness did not meet our expectation, the ageing does present challenging for cleaning and particularly the bathroom area.
Location is amazing
When I tried to change my booking and cancel a room they were not responsive as I used a third party to book . Difficult to cancel .

Went for a drink to the main bar one evening and things seemed to be in a state of confusion.
