This hotel was just what I had hoped for.. elegant but with a very hospitable and lovely staff.... a sanctuary from the hectic, chaos of Saigon. I look forward to returning again!

The staff was wonderful and inviting, and the breakfast exceptional...so many choices from pastries to pho, the freshest tropical fruits, and wonderful home made Vietnamese warm savory dishes. An extensive offering that was a great way to start the day!

Cons:

I liked everything! It was a treat to spend 2 nights at Mai House in Saigon!

Very clean, elegant hotel located close to many tourist attractions. Rooms were spacious, very well equipped with all the necessary toiletries you would need. Mimi bar offered a small selection of free drinks. There were a number of restaurants on site - food at the pool area and main restaurant was very good. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful especially at the pool area ! Small swimming pool on the 5th floor which only just enough loungers - perfect temperature for a dip.

Cons:

Having traveled around Vietnam where everyone was very trusting, in this hotel you almost felt you couldn’t move without being given prior authorisation. The room had its own key card that meant you could keep the air conditioning on etc - I found a number of guests had removed it thinking it was the key to open the door and operate the lift, it wasn’t and a lot of people were getting confused as once in the lift the only floors you could access without a card were 4 and under - the pool and sky bar were above this - the bedrooms were above floor 5 - you also couldn’t get in the gym without your card even though you had managed to access the floor with it - you almost felt you were mistrusted from the start

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel in Ho-Chi-Minh-City war wirklich sensationell und eines der absoluten Highlights unserer Reise. Schon beim Betreten des Hotels spürt man, dass hier viel Wert auf Atmosphäre, Design und Komfort gelegt wird. Sowohl die Zimmer als auch die öffentlichen Bereiche des Hotels sind hervorragend gestaltet – mit einer sehr durchdachten Raumaufteilung, die gleichzeitig großzügig und angenehm wirkt.

Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir das außergewöhnlich freundliche Personal. Wirklich jeder Mitarbeiter war jederzeit ansprechbar, extrem höflich, aufmerksam und vor allem lösungsorientiert. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens betreut. Dieser Service macht den Aufenthalt wirklich besonders.

Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls hervorragend und lässt praktisch keine Wünsche offen – eine große Auswahl, hohe Qualität und alles sehr liebevoll präsentiert. Einzig beim Kaffee mussten wir unsere Bestellung ein paar Mal wiederholen, bis er kam. Aber das ist wirklich Jammern auf sehr hohem Niveau.

Ein absolutes Highlight ist die Rooftop-Bar. Der Ausblick über die Stadt ist schlicht spektakulär. Dazu eine sehr stimmige Atmosphäre, eine ausgezeichnete Auswahl an Getränken und leckeren Snacks – ein perfekter Ort, um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen.

Wenn man überhaupt etwas anmerken möchte, dann ist es der Poolbereich, der für die Größe des Hotels etwas klein geraten ist. Gerade bei vielen Gästen gibt es relativ wenige Liegen.

Alles in allem jedoch ein fantastisches Hotel mit großartigem Service, toller Atmosphäre und einer traumhaften Rooftop-Bar. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten. Klare Empfehlung! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We came here based on good reviews, but it turned out to be a problematic experience.

Cons:

On the first day, we had to shower with cold water because the shower faucet was broken. We provided feedback in the morning, and when we returned to the hotel in the evening, we were informed that there was no problem and that hot water was available. However, the water was cold again. When we provided feedback again, they acted as if the first complaint hadn't been filed... They said they would look into it again. Subsequently, it was repaired. But entire day in a hotel oke of the main requirement was mulfanctuioning.

En fantastisk base i HCMC
Pros:

Helt igennem en fantastisk base til et ophold HCMC. I gåafstand til distrekt 1, men roligt og lokalt med masser af cafe muligheder i nærheden. Hotellet har eb rooftop bar som er vældig hyggelig også.

Morgenmaden er et kapitel for sig - alt hvad hjertet begære 🥢😍

Personalet er ekseptionelt imødekommende og giver virkelig en 5 stjernet service uden drt nogensinde bliver snobbet.

Når jeg kommer tilbage til HCMC skal jeg helt sikkert bo her igen ❤️
