It’s an older building but it has what was needed for our stay. Quick check in and out, clean beds, shower and basic amenities. Simple free breakfast for the kids

Cons:

The smoke detector going off because of the steam from the shower and having to listen to the beep it would put off after the buzzing stopped. I was not tall enough to reset it and no one answered the front desks phone.

Wasn't clean rooms looked run down pool wasn't clean . Only stayed in one of the 2 rooms I rented need a refund for the second room they rented out to someone. It was supposed to be a shared room and it wasn't we stayed in room 208 and gave the keys back for room 210 .

I'm glad my stay is over.
Pros:

Breakfast was minimal. This Days Inn was monumentally better than the one in Morton, IL, but it wouldn't have been difficult to be better. Morton, IL Days Inn was a bona fide dump. Light bulbs missing, lamp shades ripped, dirty as the great outdoors, AND NO breakfast, though I had already decided that I wouldn't eat anything on their menu. So, in that context, St. Clairsville Days Inn was a step up.

Cons:

Breakfast was a poor excuse for a meal. The place was shabby but fairly clean which was a blessing.
