Check in was a nightmare

Refused to check us in having electronic copies of IDs, demanding physical documents, even though their policy says a photocopy of a document and a credit card are the only requirements. The reservation was fully paid. Avoid.

een citytrip in Madrid
Pros:

op zich lag het hotel niet zo ver van het centrum, wij hebben alles te voet kunnen afleggen
ondanks de drukte in de stad, was het hotel in een rustige buurt gelegen
de kamer en badkamer waren zeer goed, zeer goede matrassen
het ontbijt was goed, voldoende keuze
men kon overdag steeds iets drinken in de bar
vermits Madrid niet toegankelijk is voor voertuigen, enkel voor inwoners en taxi's, heeft het hotel ons goed geholpen om dit probleem op te lossen, door te vermelden dat we een parking moesten boeken, zodat we toch Madrid binnen mochten rijden zonder een flinke boete te krijgen.

er was geen mogelijkheid om te eten in het hotel, ondanks dat er wel een menukaart stond bij het binnenkomen van het hotel
sommige personeelsleden waren niet echt op de hoogte van de werking in de bar

Pros:

Location is good and convenient

Cons:

Upon check-in, we discovered previous customers’ underwear in the toilet. I immediately informed the staff who came to our room and removed it from our room. I requested a new room due to concerns about the cleanliness of the original. However, he informed us that there weren’t any available. This solution seemed unsatisfactory. At the very least, he should have contacted the cleaners to have the room thoroughly cleaned.

Pros:

Tutto: la struttura è a due passi dalla stazione della metro Bilbao, comoda per andare verso la Gran Via a piedi. L'hotel è moderno e pulito, le camere silenziose e la colazione è ottima.

Abbiamo vissuto molto bene la bella e viva città anche grazie alla scelta di questo hotel.
Pros:

Pulizia, gentilezza del personale. Colazione dolce e salata di buona qualità e quantità. Posizione strategica a 100 m scarsi dalla fermata Bilbao della linea marron della metro (M4). L'hotel è raggiungibile facilmente via metro dall'aeroporto con un cambio. La Gran Via è raggiungibile a piedi in circa 20 minuti. Nei dintorni dell'hotel sono disponibili tutti i tipi di ristorazione. Le stanze erano silenziose.

La presenza di una breve scala per accedere alla reception.
