Holiday Inn Melbourne-Viera Conference Ctr by IHG

Nice and well kept property. What made it exceptional is absolutely every single employee we encountered, front desk, bar and breakfast staff to housekeeping.

Hotel on a whole was nice, but a bit dated. The lobby had a charm to it and the staff was very nice. The bedroom was well kept, furniture was also a bit dated. Bathroom was nice but you could see that it a bit of a face lift.
Hopefully this will be one of the IHG to get a remodel soon, but keep the Charm of the hotel.

The Staff at this hotel was amazing!!

I loved the h street grille and the bartender made some great drinks. But this hotel wouldn’t let them change the tv to the Foot ball game. Everyone at bar wanted the big game but they have a rule where it could not be changed. We had to watch a basketball game. So had to go back to my room.

When you say pet friendly it should be clear that there is an additional fee. It did not say it on my confirmation. I found the room was in need of repairs in the bathroom and the walls in the room. The air conditioner was dirty and had mold inside the unit

Excellent customer service from Rachel (front desk), the young lady working the bar Sat nite and the young woman trying to cover breakfast by herself Sun AM. However, this hotel is waayy overdue for maintenance and upgrades. I've been staying here over 30 years, when it was called the Imperial Comfort Inn (The Hotel to the Stars!). The original owner, Judge Joe Marceso is rolling over in his grave, sorry Joe (RIP).

Hotel needs renovation but was kept clean. Front desk person very helpful, friendly and professional. She made our stay a delight

Nice facility. Staff was especially friendly and cordial. especially Jacqueline who was our waitress in the restaurant. She is definitely a "Keeper" as an employee!

We stay at the one in Melbourne, Florida. The room was great but there was a problem with the elevator so we had to carry our luggage to the second floor using the stairs

Coming from the best IHG stay at the Crowne Plaza Oceanfront to this dump was a stark slap in the face.

First, while checking in, the associate mentioned that though I booked a king room, they didnt have any king rooms, so she started looking for upgrades, which were a little hard to find as the 2 elevators hadnt been working since before Christmas.

Thankfully, she did find an upgrade on the first floor (room 100), as I was pretty certain that I couldn't haul 300 lbs worth of luggage up 4 flights of stairs.

When we wheeled our luggage into the room, I tried logging onto the wifi, as I work remotely, and needed to verify the stability since we were staying 8 nights. 20 minutes later, the portal on the phone popped up, but the speed was dog slow.

Then I noticed the room phone message light was blinking, so I sat on the edge of the bed to check messages. The mattress sank way more than other mattresses we've had, and that's when I knew things were nose-diving.

When I dialed the extension to retrieve messages, it responded with an "extension is not valid" error. I pressed the "front desk" call button which also responded with an "extension is not valid" error.

I called IHG and had them book us at a different property, although I gotta give props to the family of 4 who was booking on the 4th floor. Travelling with backpacks was a great choice!

Great hotel, close to man roads to get out and explore.
