Emplacement parfait et hôtel très agréable

Pas à la hauteur d'un 4etoiles

Séjour décevant au Mercure Marseille Centre Vieux Port.
À mon arrivée le mardi vers 20h, j’ai demandé à pouvoir prendre mes petits-déjeuners plus tôt que l’heure d’ouverture du buffet pour les deux matins de mon séjour, étant en déplacement professionnel. On m’a répondu qu’il était trop tard pour organiser cela.
J’ai alors demandé à retirer les petits-déjeuners du tarif puisque je ne pourrais pas en bénéficier normalement. Cela m’a été refusé. Après insistance, la réceptionniste a contacté le service cuisine afin d’ajouter un “sac petit-déjeuner” pour ma chambre.
L’hôtel mentionne pourtant proposer un service en chambre dans ses prestations. Dans les faits, j’ai dû descendre moi-même à la réception récupérer un simple sachet contenant quelques viennoiseries, deux bananes, une petite brique de jus d’orange et une petite bouteille d’eau.
Pour un établissement 4 étoiles, et au vu du prix facturé pour le petit-déjeuner, cette prestation est largement insuffisante. Aucun produit frais, aucun choix, aucune attention particulière. Cela ne correspond pas au standing attendu ni aux services annoncés.
La chambre était correcte sans plus. La propreté reste perfectible et l’insonorisation laisse à désirer : les bruits du couloir et des chambres voisines sont facilement audibles. L’accueil est resté professionnel mais peu chaleureux.
La localisation, proche du Vieux-Port, est un point positif, mais elle ne compense pas le manque de flexibilité et l’écart entre les services affichés et la réalité.

Séjour très agréable
Pros:

hotel bien situé, propre, confortable. Petit déjeuner très varié et copieux.
Personnel très serviable. J'ai oublié des effets personnels dans le coffre et ai appelé la réception pour le signaler. L'hotel m'a répondu rapidement qu'ils ont pu récupérer mes affaires du coffre et qu'il les tenait à ma disposition sur place ou qu'il pouvait me les renvoyer par la poste. Service impeccable! Merci

Good hotel close to the Vieux Port
Pros:

First impressions were not great - hard to find by car and not the friendliest of staff, But it got a lot better - central location very near the vieux port, spacious room, good breakfast, good underground parking (watch your car height)

Cons:

Staff could have been a bit friendlier. Revolut credit card didn't work, Long walk from the parking area (if you have heavy luggage then best to drop it off first). Dog owners beware - there is NO grass within 20 minutes walk of the hotel so you'll have to persuade your dog to go on the pavement

the coffee shop lacks any cosy atmosphere, one doesn't want to spend any time there. Coming down from the rooms out of the lift, the first things one sees are the recycling bins!

Cons:

Com exceção do senhor que atende no bar, os funcionários são antipáticos, maleducados e até mesmo grosseiros. Para não falar do banheiro do quarto, com canos de água e esgoto aparentes.
