Comfortable stay in Anapolis
Pros:

We had a suite with two bedrooms on the ground floor. Very comfortable, nice beds. Split air conditioners, so very quiet. Breakfast was very good, best I had in hotels in this price range. I also appreciated the reusable cups and plates, rather than the one-use plastic in other hotels.

Cons:

Being on the ground floor, we could hear people walking upstairs. As these units are probably also used by families, you are better off getting a top floor unit, which in our case was no longer available. We had no trouble sleeping, even though my bedroom was besides the path to enter for building 6 (I was afraid I would hear rolling suitcases from 6 am but this was not the case)

Pros:

Parking close to the room.
Lots of space. Quiet. Fabulous breakfast.

Cons:

Fridge was noisy. The barn door hard to work on bathroom. TV remotes were. confusing. Poor lighting over sofa. Lack of hooks and closet very low. (possibly because we had a handicap room)

This is a wonderful hotel for the price and the breakfast was exceptional!
Pros:

The suite was great! very roomy and plenty of space for our luggage, food etc. The kitchenette was clean and spacious, and the fridge was big enough to store the food we brought. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was exceptional! I definitely recommend this hotel and would come back again. The location felt safe and only about a 10-15 minute drive to the old town of Annapolis.

Cons:

I didn't like that there was a $7 parking fee each day and not sure why we have to pay for parking. The pull out sofa was spacious but not super comfortable. I guess that is to be expected for a pull out bed.

Nice property with great room layout.
Pros:

Nice and clean.

Cons:

I checked in overnight to heaven’s quiet place to work, film and record media curriculum. Unfortunately, it was lawn care afternoon and the noise from home I tried to avoid I ran into at the property. It was no fault of their own. But certainly took away from my experience & expectation.

Poor Management and unhospitable staff
Pros:

On my 2nd day, my kids and I showed up to breakfast at 8:59 am. The whole buffet was empty. I thought it was open until 9:30 so I waited by the kitchen door, and a very unfriendly person walked out at 9:02 am from the kitchen and pointed to me at a sign posted at the wall, where it said breakfast was through 9:00 am. But the reality was that even the 2 large coffee pots were emptied by 8:59 am. There was absolutely nothing to grab and go. But since my interaction with the associate was at 9:02, I went to the front desk and asked for coffee pods and creamers to brew coffee in my room, and I door dashed breakfast for my 9, 9 and 11 yo children. On the 3rd day of my stay, and my last, my children and I showed up to breakfast at 8:29 am. We had half an hour to enjoy breakfast. To our big disappointment, the same unhospitable associate had already started emptying the buffet; the were no tortillas for tacos, no no lettuce, no tomatoes, no sour cream, no bagels, no sweet cookies, no potatoes and worst of all, the pancake maker was off. I asked why and she said that "too many people were ahead of me" so what was there was all it was left. And she did turn on the pancake maker but after 10 minutes it was still not working, as if it was jammed, and after 20 minutes she said it was still overheating. But for more than half hour, no one was able to use the machine and she made no attempt to fix it. Added there was no bread, I was really upset so I walked to the front desk and this always friendly lady came to try help reset the machine or see why it was not working. But her co-worker yield at her and me that no one should be touching that, and if she couldn't fix it, her co-worker was not going to be able to fix it either. So i expressed my disappointment about not having anything for breakfast. She brought 2 bagels from the kitchen. But i asked for potatoes and tortillas for my kids and she said no. At that time it was already 9:01 so she screamed at my face "I don't have to do anything anymore for you" while pointing at the time. I was shocked. All I attempted to say was, "that was very rude" while she was already walking away. At that time, a gentleman stepped in and stopped our argument saying "stop, stop, stop" and walked her to the kitchen and shut the door. The man was dresses up casually and was not wearing a name tag. I sat down to have my coffee and every single regular guest there said something nice to me, and had a story about a past attitude given by this same associate. After 10 minutes, the gentleman in the kitchen walked out of there and the mean associate finished emptying the buffet. I walked away to load my car, since we were checking out. On my way out, at 11 am, I stopped by front desk, thanked the lady for always being nice and friendly and asked for a card for the hotel general manager. She said that unfortunately they don't carry cards, and she added, that the man that was in the breakfast room, that escorted the lady to the kitchen was the manager. Unbelievable. That manager never came to the dining room to apologize or check on me, or cared to asked if I needed anything, given that there was no breakfast at 8:30 am on one of the busiest weeks in the year: July 3rd. The hotel had been at full capacity all week, so there was no reason why management didn't expect a large volume of guests having breakfast. The manager is an accurate resemblance of many unfriendly associates at this hotel.
When he overheard that I asked for his name and email address he walked from behind the office and asked "is there a problem"? So i replied yes. but this is not a good time for me, my kids waiting in the car and its 100 degrees.
Out of all of my multiple stays at this hotel, or any other Sonesta, this was the worst.
