I was disappointed to find the construction, but all in all I think it will be a beautiful hotel once completed
Pros:

This was a good location for what was needed. Lobby was lovely and breakfast was decent.

Cons:

I didn’t like the fact that it was under construction and I had to go from one building to the next for breakfast. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom which made for a foggy mirror.

Bad deal
Pros:

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The spa bath was small and dripped constantly, so we were afraid to get in it. The toilet was leaking all over the floor and the wall behind the toilet was rotting. The hot water in the shower was all over the place leaking and hitting our legs. The breakfast buffet was awful
Only one side was open because of renovations and was outdated big time. Toilets and mattresses, carpets torn up by the entrance.just a mess!

Not great. Really went down hill bad.
Cons:

The smell, the pool was closed, the humidifiers in the hallway, there were rowdy guests clumped up everywhere drinking, the entire north tower was supposedly booked or under construction- but I booked and paid to stay there! So having to walk and stay in the other tower was not great. Also none of the floors had a vending machine anymore!Pretty upset. It wasn’t a great stay.

Pros:

The exterior space tables and pool were very nice. The view from this area was beautiful.
The bed was comfortable and clean.

Cons:

The hotel is undergoing renovation. It is very dated and run down. The parking lot side was overrun with overflowing dumpsters, construction materials, discarded toilets and pieces of showers. The halls had buckets and other construction materials in them.
Our room had a damp rid bag hanging in the ”closet area” it was full of water, meaning the room was damp and this “fix” was no longer doing its job. The sink was so old the basin was cracked and disgusting looking. The tub caulking was spotted black and red- assumed mold and we didn’t even feel comfortable showering.
In the hall there was a dehumidifier plugged in and full therefore not running anymore.
The cost of this hotel for our one night stay with taxes was nearly $250. This cost should have provided a much higher level of accommodation . This was not disclosed in the online advertisement. We would not have booked if it was accurately described. In fact we tried to cancel when we arrived and were told we could not without 24 hours notice.

Restaurant staff called in sick
Pros:

Close to highway. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

Restaurant staff all phoned in sick. Housekeeping girl stepped in…she had to take orders , cook, serve and clean up. Desk staff knew me of this and still mislead me when I called in regarding needing reservations.
No mention of no staff and only short bar menu was available.
Was warned away by other patrons in restaurant.
Only room this booking as it had an in site restaurant.
Very disappointing.
Rooms are being renovated so in future I hope they upgrade the tv from a small 14”.

The room was fairly clean and comfortable. It was quiet.
Pros:

Always like staying here on our way down to Kentucky to visit family. The scenery is beautiful and love the porch swings on the patio.

Cons:

The fact that they’re remodeling and changing their name to La Quinta may change if we stay there again.

The location was great for where we were headed.

Cons:

The last day we expected to grab breakfast before our 7 hour drive home since breakfast was included in our stay. However, we were quite disappointed to learn that their kitchen staff did not show up that day so there was no breakfast to be had. No coffee. No grab and go items. Nothing. It would have been customer friendly to consider that we were counting on that breakfast to make our travel day efficient and they should have come up with some alternative instead of nothing.

Clean and great breakfast, friendly staff
Pros:

Staff were exceptional, room cleanliness was ok, needed more towels in the room, toilet was very low and my dad had trouble. Breakfast was great and the staff attending was super friendly, food was a good temp and lots of choice
