This place is so neglected and I feel, it is a health hazard.
Where to start…..
The girl working reception was pretty rude to start with. She didn’t greet me at first, she just sat there. And when she did come to the counter, I felt she was very short with me.
Once we checked in, the first thing we noticed was how filthy the floors were. But that was just the beginning. The elevator was so disgustingly dirty that we used the room card key to press the buttons. There were stains from floor to ceiling in the elevator.
Getting off the elevator all you could notice was debris and bits of trash. The carpet clearly has not been vacuumed in quite some time.
As we walked by the the filthy ice machine (god help anyone that uses that thing), I saw a pile of trash from various people’s rooms, including a social distancing floor sticker on top of it all. Clearly this trash, which had old food in it, has been there for QUITE some time.
Upon entering our room, the first thing we saw was how dirty the laminate floor was. It’s clear that no one had even swept before we arrived. Debris and dust was all over the room. We left our shoes on the entire time we were in there.
The ceiling was peeling and needed repair. The bathroom door had drip marks from some unknown substance near the floor.
The TV remote was not working, so I took it down to the front desk. She replaced the batteries and that solved that problem. It was once we started watching the TV that I realized there were lines going up and down in 2 spots in the middle of the screen. We ended up not using the TV because it was very distracting. This TV needs to be replaced.
Their huge “Motel 6” sign at the end of their drive way had been knocked down and was lying on their grass. There were children jumping on it, like it was a trampoline. There wasn’t anything keeping them away from it, like caution tape or temporary barriers. I felt that was a huge safety issue.
The bed sheets were clean and we didn’t find any traces of things like bed bugs, so that’s one positive thing, and the girl at the front desk was nicer the next few times we saw her, so she may have been having a bad day when I first saw her, but the filth and unkept appearance of this motel was incredibly bad.
I get that staff can be costly, but when your establishment is a possible health code violation, it’s time to do some regularly scheduled cleaning. Bare minimum should be a daily vacuum of the halls, remove trash from the ice machine area and sweep of the floors in each room once a guest checks out. And a good wipe down of the elevator walls would go a long way as well.
Would definitely never stay here again because we value our health too much.
I truly hope they improve their standard of cleaning because this was unacceptable.
The property was misrepresented online and the conditions were completely unsafe.

The property wasn’t bad but they have long term residents and there leaving alot of trash In the hallways and there’s nobody to book you in you have to do it it through a kiosk which I don’t really like but other then that the room was clean and the beds was nice so no complaints there just a little noisy
Room was good. Clean.
The pathway to the room (outside room) was bit messy with snacks thrown by someone. Probably it was late night when we checkedin. I hope the cleaning would have done next day morning or so. Otherwise OK
Convenient to highway.
Very dirty, with a pervasive smell of filth. Also, it is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel, but whatever they sprayed to cover that up had me coughing continuously through the night.
Also, the check in process was very complicated. While the clerk on the other end of a virtual teller was trying to help me, the technology continued to complicate matters and took way longer than it should have.
The bedroom was clean, however it looks like there had been water damage in the ceiling, slightly coming down. I was able to check in at 1:30 am and receive a key.
The lobby was shabby looking, and was a little concerned if I would be safe. Hallways were dirty and smelly.
I liked the location for my winter wonderland stay. It was easily accessible by the highway and close to my son and grandson.
I was charged extra for early check-in I was given a handicap room that was not clean there was a smoking area established right outside my door they were noisy the staff didn't seem to be caring when I addressed my complaints they had dangerous people in the lobby I let them in because she was crying and he was trying to console her later I found out they had been physically asked to leave another room in the hotel but yet we're still hanging out in the lobby making me their second victim of the night - when I complained that there was a crack paraphernalia in my bath they said well you let them in it wasn't the first time that I found that kind of paraphernalia at a Motel 6. I have faith in the owners of these properties and know that they will make amends by making this property more safe and amicable for all of those that choose to travel and stay at Motel 6.
Room was clean
Everything outside the room was very dirty
We only paid $130 for 2 night. It’s fine for a quick place
Smelled like mildew and cigarettes, no fridge or hairdryer, the door handle was broken. Air conditioner also squeaked and we could only use a few mins at a time. There was also a smashed blueberry under the bed so not sure how clean it is
The heat was not working in the room and it was freezing outside and inside.
