Wilton Hotel

Not a 4 star hotel!!! It is a 2 star at best!! Smelly room, stained carpet, broken furniture, stained bathtub, dirty towels, simply disgusting !!!!

The room was very dark with no natural light, and the window faced directly into the wall of the neighboring building. The Wi-Fi was also very unstable, and the front desk staff were unable to assist. As a result, I missed an important work meeting. Breakfast very basic.

Excellent Location

Good staff and location , rooms are small , double beds are not American size , very basic breakfast, take in consideration that in Argentina people are not used to have breakfast not in the American conventional way .

Property is in a great location with many restaurants and shops within steps of it. Hotel room itself was nice but felt older and dated decor wise. Pillows were very soft. Air conditioner was a bit loud and windows had a weird shutter it from of them preventing me to see outside. Room has a large shower-bathtub, toilet and bidet. Room has a good size refrigerator and safe. WiFi worked well without problem. There was a small breakfast available included with the room but was very small. Hotel had 24 hour front desk staff. No currency exchanging service onsite. Within steps of the tourist landmark El Ateneo Grand Splendid theater converted into a bookstore. Great value for the rate and location. Would stay again and recommend.

Everything was very goog except for the air conditioner equipment. It is very old and noisy. The rest was excellent.

I had booked a Superior Room with a queen bed.
But what I was given was a room with 2 twin beds and the window was blocked off with a permanent screen, making this an "interior" room. There was no air conditioning as had been described. The room was too warm.
Because I had tripped on the step just outside the hotel & bruised both knees, I was too distracted to realize that my room was not the type that I had actually reserved until the morning I had checked out.

The ladies at the front desk during the day are warm and friendly. The men on the night shift were a little grumpy.

We stayed in room 601 and had to leave because of bed bugs. The carpet has stains.
On top of that following day, they charged me for the cancellation of an extra night.

Very noisy. Lack of parking.
Ancient furniture.
They won't offer you a second key.
The lobby has worn sofas.
Pricey for the crappy conditions they offer.

Location is convenient, very helpful & professional staff members , cleaning crew does an excellent job to keep the bedsheets, towels clean ! Very poor A/C system , very LOUD A/C & not keeping the room cool / old A/C with filthy filter ! Carpets on the floor are spotted & old ! I had to pay extra for an upgraded room with cleaner carpet & window over very noisy Main Street ! Refrigerator was not keeping anything cool !

NO A/C!!! BE AWARE!!! This by far the worst hotel condition in Buenos Aires for the location. Owners doesn’t want to fix the AC (told by same employees) since November 2022!!!! Can’t be that cheap! Counter service rude and unprofessional. The only nice guys was the overnight guy with with hair. Marcos(front counter) rude dude! Do not stay there pay extra $20 and go somewhere else! Rooms is dirty and outdated. Walk AC box are from 1960 and don’t work properly. Carpet dirty and super super nasty.

Marcos and Joseph on desk were great.

I only spent one night as I could not get to the apartment in the middle of the night.Two single beds were comfortable, but the ancient AC was so noisy I had to turn it off. The breakfast was very good and the staff very accommodating. Have recommended it t friends mainly because of location and excellent price.
