Not what I expected.
Pros:

There was a weird smell to the room, and it just felt dark and dated.

Location was ideal, staff were friendly, and included breakfast was good.

Cons:

The bed was firm/not overly comfortable, and when using the shower there were black flecks on the tub that rinsed off with water so am not sure where they came from. For just a one night stopover it was doable though

Acceptable. Good value. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room assigned was for handicapped people. There was no closet or space to hang clothing in the room nor in the bathroom. the shower floor was flat, not properly leveled so the water over flows. Thanks to the towels we prevent to have water all over.
Of course, this is one room, which does not represent the general quality of the property. The TV works but the remote control is inoperable other than to turn it on/off. The room was impeccable.

Pros:

Breakfast was great. And location is good, especially if you 'd like to access a trail point to the New River trail state park at Foster Falls.

Cons:

There was a smell outside and inside room, that resembled cat pee. Not to say that was it. But definitely a smell.

For a one night sleep on my journey, this was fine.
Pros:

Hotel was pretty clean and breakfast was pretty good. Floors were hard floors, clean and adequate but I prefer a carpeted floor. Bathroom was small but clean and towels were good.

Cons:

Not liking that door opened to the outside but there were good locks. Hard floors are not my favorite but were clean. Had a somewhat musty smell but not bad. Hanging clothes rack was kind of rusty and needed replaced. Needed an upgrade.

Good location and value, but issues with the toilet and high pet fee
Pros:

Good location with easy access to transportation, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The breakfast is absolutely sufficient for the price and a solid start to the day.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the toilet kept running continuously, and the $15 per night fee for dogs feels quite excessive.
