Easy access to highways in and out of Pittsburgh
It's a little bit off the path when it comes to things in Oakland, but this is a nice hotel with very nice staff.
Affordable and comfortable
Friendly staff and hotel is close to most of the tourist attractions
We made a reservation in June for a November stay and our reservation was cancelled by the hotel a month later with no explanation. When I called to find out what happened I was told the hotel had been sold and they were cancelling all reservations. It would have been helpful to put this on their website or at least provide some information as to why they abruptly cancelled our reservation in an email.
Great to stay in for Pitt visit, affordable and delicious breakfast
I would have given this property 5 out of 5, but when we came for breakfast with the kids at 8:00 AM, almost everything was already gone. When we asked the hotel staff if they were going to refill the food, they told us that this was all they had. 😞
For a hotel of this quality and price, there should be a backup plan to ensure all guests are served properly
Feels like an older hotel that needs refurbishing. Not enough parking for the hotel, and it’s very hard to find parking nearby. Breakfast was mediocre. Not a great neighborhood.
How clean and friendly it was there. Felt like home
The parking area and no instructions for extra parking.
Great property!
It's convenient, close to bus station stops, highway, CMU campus. There are lots parking space. The staffs are very helpful & accommodating. The breakfast is fine, except for oatmeal.
There isn't enough oatmeal every day. I have stayed for 4 days, each morning I went down, between 9:10am to 9:30am, oatmeal is gone. Later I figured the hotel used a medium slow cooker, not enough for 6 people.
One night, I have a noisy neighbour, with TV on almost overnight, until early next morning. There is a locked door between two rooms. So it can be noisy.
Everything from check-in, to to check-out went well. The breakfast was good, and all staff were always helpful and pleasant. Central enough to walk across to the U Pitt campus. A very nice stay. Thank you.
No complaints at all. I think it was great.
Lacks the quality and cleanliness you expect from a Hampton Inn. The room smelled musty, thankfully the air conditioning works and stays on consistently. The room was ok, showing its age and a little beat up. The dead cherry stem on the floor was gross. Breakfast was typical but a very tiny room, had a line just to get into it. The most disappointing part was the gym. No weight, a few light medicine balls, no towels, no sanitary wipes, no water. I’m pretty sure it hasn’t been cleaned in quite awhile. I’ll pay more to stay somewhere else if I am ever back in Pittsburgh. Parking spaces are TIGHT, which is probably par for a city, but no need to add door dings to my stay.
The staff was friendly and accommodating
The room / facility was clean
The tub had a bit of rust around the drain
Close to hospitals and dining. Clean, well kept property.
The staff, especially Khristian, was very welcoming.
The room was worn, and the breakfast was empty. Although clean, the sheets were stained and the pillowcases were threadbare. The shower was either stained black or moldy. Breakfast said that it was open from 6-10am. However, when we arrived at 8:04am, all that remained was the waffle station, a few pieces of bread, some fruit, oatmeal, hardboiled eggs, cereal, and one plain yogurt. A little disappointing for the cost.
roll-in shower
room was incredibly small for the cost. barely any room for my son's powerchair to turn around
Came in for one night for business trip, got a great night sleep fairly easy to find.
Close to dining and close to Schenley Park
