Frustrated by reservation mismanagement and staffs lack of communication.

Grounds were well kept

Cons:

Booked and paid for a King Suite with a soak tub but when we arrived we were put into a small back room with a queen bed. When I asked they said the king suite was sold out and this was all they had. When we inquired about dinner we were told the resturant on premises was closed but there were some down the road we could drive to. We later discovered that a wonderful resturant, The Sea, was adjacent to the property and had an exceptional meal. Why the staff didn’t tell us was puzzling.

A great hideaway.

Chegamos ao hotel tarde da noite e, ao se deitar, meu filho percebeu que havia sangue no travesseiro. Ao verificar a cama que estava aparentemente perfeitamente arrumada e encontramos diversas manchas de sangue, com aparência compatível com sangue menstrual, em várias partes da roupa de cama: fronha, lençol superior e lençol inferior.

Entrei em contato imediatamente com a recepção. Foi enviada um funcionário apenas com um jogo de lençóis limpos, que me entregou para que eu mesma realizasse a troca, sem qualquer pedido de desculpas ou demonstração de preocupação, como se a situação fosse absolutamente normal.

Reclamei no momento, pois considero o ocorrido grave do ponto de vista de higiene e segurança, especialmente por envolver um adolescente. No dia seguinte, a gerente tentou entrar em contato por telefone, mas não consegui atender. Assim que percebi que se tratava do hotel, enviei mensagem solicitando retorno ou contato por e-mail, conforme informado na plataforma do Booking.

A resposta do hotel foi apenas informar que teria tentado contato e que aplicou um desconto de US$ 50 na conta, tratando o episódio como uma questão financeira. Ressalto que o problema não é o valor, mas sim a gravidade de encontrar roupas de cama com sangue e, principalmente, a forma negligente e indiferente como o hotel lidou com uma situação séria.

O ocorrido por si só já é inaceitável, mas a ausência de um pedido de desculpas adequado, de um protocolo mínimo de cuidado com o hóspede e de uma resposta proporcional à gravidade do problema foi o que mais causou indignação.

Dinah's is a great place to renew and retreat on the Peninsula. We constantly recommend Dinah's!!
Pros:

Breakfast okay - please add more vegan and gluten free option like vegan egg and gluten free pancakes or french toast. Thank you !! We love the Bolognese gnocchi!! We live nearby and come to Dinah's to see water gardens and have dinner often

This is the most peaceful hotel that I have stayed at anywhere in the world.
Pros:

The hotel is a little bit of paradise in the middle of a bustling city and you wouldn't even know that you are surrounded by a city. Truly a magnificent retreat to which I will be returning and referring all of my friends to stay there as well. The restaurant by the pool is just an added bonus.

Cons:

That I had to leave and go home.

I really liked the hotel. Our room had ducks and koi on the backside. Very quiet and serene.
Pros:

We ate at the poolside restaurant. Burger and cocktails were delicious.

Cons:

At 10am the cleaning staff tapped lightly and entered the room before I could answer. Checkout wasnt until 11.
That was a bit weird.
