Perfect overnight stop, clean and affordable
Pros:

Good value for money. Easy check-in. Dog friendly. Very clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast.

Cons:

The heating was on when I arrived and it was automatic, I was unable to turn it off. The room was very hot indeed, almost uncomfortably so.

Pros:

Twynholm is a very nice village. Small but worth exploring. Property was clean and room had everything needed. Excellent breakfast. Friendly service.

Cons:

Towels were rather thin. It is pity the accommodation is in an annex rather than in the main building. Also a pity that the bar and restaurant are closed during weekdays, especially as there are no other options in Twynholm.

Great stop off in the south west of Scotland.
Pros:

The breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked to order, very good , I also had a meal the previous evening and the sirloin steak was excellent and handmade chips perfect !
