The positive was the breakfast—the food was good, and the staff working the breakfast area uwere friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

This was a very frustrating and unacceptable stay. We walked into our room and it was set to 78 degrees—completely uncomfortable. When we tried to turn on the AC, it didn’t work at all and never cooled the room down.

We were forced to deal with a hot, stuffy room overnight and had to open the windows in the morning just to get any relief. To make matters worse, the window on our second-floor room didn’t even have a screen. Traveling with a young child, that’s a serious safety concern and completely unacceptable.

We reported the issue to the front desk, and they assured us the general manager would follow up. That never happened. No communication, no resolution, no accountability.

Between the broken AC, the unsafe window situation, and the complete lack of follow-through, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again.

The shuttle was great.

Cons:

The staff could not find our reservation that was made on booking.com. He said the site had been filled for several hours. As a result that we had not found the reservation it must not of gone through. He also thought it was made at Briargate. We couldn't use the shuttle to go there. When we got back home we found several emails showing our confirmation number to your site at The Fairfield on Tower Road and the time we would be at your site.

Good Location
Pros:

Nearby a Ruby Tuesday so we could Walk to dinner.

Cons:

Elevator was not working near our room. It was a very long walk to the next one and so not convenient.

Not a bad nights sleep
Pros:

Fairfield

We just needed a room by the airport for our morning flight. The Marriott bed was a welcome comfort. The bath towels are big and soft. Everything seemed new or recently renovated. The elevator location is just bizarre, must be a fire code thing. They are at the far end of the carpeted halls from the front desk. The bathroom door would not stay open. It has a special hinge that keeps it closed, fire code? Could have more receptacles by the bed to plug my devices into. The service people we interact with were very friendly, the included breakfast bar was standard fare but the staff was on top of keeping it fresh and clean.
