I booked a night at the Hilton to celebrate a very special occasion. Although I live in Berlin, I wanted to celebrate it at the hotel to make the moment even more memorable.
Before my stay, I contacted the reception to prepare something nice for us and Johanna was the one who responded. She was incredibly helpful, very polite, and extremely professional from the very beginning. Her responses were always quick, thoughtful, and very accommodating.
We are pleasantly very happy as she upgraded us to a beautiful suite overlooking the Gendarmenmarkt. She also arranged a lovely surprise in the room, which made the experience even more special. On top of that, she gave us one of the newly renovated suites, which was absolutely fantastic.
Johanna is truly a credit to the hotel. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail made our special occasion even more memorable.
The hotel itself is wonderful, the location is perfect, and the staff are outstanding. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berlin.

Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig. Vieles wirkt 30, 40 Jahre alt, kleinere und größere Mängel erfüllen nicht den 4-Sterne-Standard. Der Wellness-Bereich erinnert ebenfalls an die 1980er Jahre
La ubicación fue perfecta, El staff me gusto mucho, No utilice el desayuno , pero la cena en el restaurante me gustó.

At hotel check-in the hotel proceeded to tell us we hadn’t paid for our stay in advance so whacked out the whole stay on ther card machine to pay for. The problem is we had fully paid for the trip using British airways holiday package.
After explain several times that we had paid and showed confirmation that this was paid, the several customer service reps just couldn’t understand. We were told to just pay another ~€800 again and we can revolve at end of stay. A very strange approach and not something my partner and I wanted to do. What push pack do we have at that point? Very strange.
I would have expected being silver member that we would have been put in the waiting area with a drink or checked in to our room by the staff whilst THEY resolved the issue. However, we had to ring up BA to confirm the payment and pass the mobile over to the desk to get the two companies speaking to each other. Very strange and caused a 1.5 hour delay to check in.
Very odd experience and the staff almost treated us as if we were trying to wing a free trip??

Wartezeit an der Rezeption. Häufig nur ein Mitarbeiter.
Trotz unserer Enttäuschung waren die Hotelmitarbeiter bemüht, Abhilfe zu schaffen, soweit das möglich war.
Hervorzuheben ist das tolle, sehr vielfältige Frühstücksangebot in einem beeindruckenden Ambiente.
Aus gegebenem Anlass war der ( Geburtstags) Tisch liebevoll gedeckt und bot einen hervorragenden Ausblick.
Kerzenschein, Geburtstagsständchen und Geburtstagsküchlein ließen uns die eher negativen Eindrücke verblassen.
Der Gast sollte auf keinen Fall spüren, dass die Renovierung im Hotel noch nicht abgeschlossen ist.
Insbesondere das Bad war nicht im Zustand eines 5 Sterne Hotels.
Das Mobiliar in diesem Zimmer war nicht nur äußerlich in die Jahre gekommen.
Schade eigentlich, denn wir hatten zuvor nur positive Erfahrungen im Hilton Berlin.
Die Lage war für meine Unternehmungen sehr gut. Das Frühstücksbüffet sehr umfangreich und gut.
Das Zimmer war zu kalt und obwohl ich den Mangel umgehend gemeldet habe kam erst am nächsten Tag ein Techniker, der das Problem nicht beheben konnte. Ich musste das Zimmer wechseln.
