Best improved 5 Star property in Singapore - Stay for the Steaks!
Pros:

I would say this is one of the most improved 5 star properties in Singapore in the last few years. I actually only checked in here because I wanted to try the new British style Steakhouse on the 3rd floor called The Stagshead. It opened in early 2026 and i'd been looking forward to trying it on my next business trip. I used to live in Singapore and id spent quite a bit of time at Pan Pacific on staycations and honestly by 2022 it was a tired property. I originally booked a standard double but upgraded to a suite on arrival. I checked the room and it was one of the older interiors but then moved next door to a new interior which was incredible. The new style suites on the higher club floors are huge and really good value. Still have the signature giant bathtubs which are a major differentiator. Staff were great and very accomodating in upgrading at check in & moving room. By the way I was totally right about the new Steak Restaurant The Stagshead. Unbelievable! Had a dinner there with 5 firends. Outrageously good beef, very unique sauces & sides, wine list to die for and great atmosphere. Its a high rollers place so be warned, you will spend. But its well worth it. We were a group of guys but it will impress the wife / gf too. Definitely the Number 1 reason to stay in the hotel. It's easy to get bookings. Not so if youre calling / trying to book on the fly. One thing that really surprised me about Pan Pacific on this business trip was that I left 2x shirts in one of the wardrobes by accident at check out. I returned to Singapore a few weeks later and they'd kept them for me. Laundred, pressed and packed. Amazing! This property compared to 4 years ago is a big upgrade. Ill be staying again soon. Love the more sophisticated youthful vibe. Staff are super well trained and accomodating, The Stagshead Steakhouse which is honestly some of the best Steaks, cocktails & wines in Singapore is an elevator button away.

Cons:

Only thing to criticize are the suites that haven't yet been refurbished. I would advise that if you book a suite, you genuinely need to request a newly refusrbished suite. But i guess this isnt really a criticism because the proeprty is clearly investing the money in upgrading the suites interiors. They were in a transition phase. when i stayed which i guess can take months.

Pros:

clean room & good breakfast , this is our second stay as earlier we stayed in 2022 Dec for 5 nights same hotel

Cons:

inspite of multiple requests for early checkin made to wait till 1pm if we had known early checkin not possible would have taken another hotel

Perfect Stay At Pan Pacific
Pros:

Everything! Exceptional views, we upgraded to the pacific club room which included lounge access. The daily champagne breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes & cocktails were included and was all delicious, they even had complimentry cookies and muffins with a hot drink sent to our room before bedtime if we requested it. Staff were so helpful and remembered our names which was nice.. Bed was so comfy and there was a pillow menu too. Best hotel I have ever stayed in! It should be a 6 star hotel!

Great location, comfortable rooms. Loved the view!

Really comfortable room and bed. Loved having multiple options in the shower. Great view of Marina Bay from the room. Easy access to Marina Square with plenty of shops and dining options.

Cons:

Automatic opening/ closing curtains, likely on some sort of timer. The noise woke me early in the morning each day.

Pan Pacific - the everyday traveller's hotel in SGP
Pros:

Wonderful hotel located in just the right area for tourists. Beautiful lobby, restaurants and amenities within the hotel. Extremely helpful and considerate staff willing to accommodate your needs. Excellent breakfast at the Edge catering for all tastes. Wonderful pool area and staff. Hotel room was well equipped with all the amenities. My wife and I both appreciated and enjoyed the Jo Loves toiletries which is leagues above many other hotels. I personally would recommend regular travellers, this hotel over MBS and other higher end establishments.
