The Westin San Diego Bayview

I have been to this hotel twice within the same month David and Kiko were my bartenders both times. Not only are they beyond friendly and professional but they truly work the bar with the care as if it were their own business. Their attention to detail
Is unmatched and their customer service is unlike I have ever seen from hotel bartenders before. I will always stay at the Westin in San Diego as long as they are here!

Overall stay was great! Staff were great from the front desk agents , bartender( David) and security( the gentleman with the dreads was super friendly) through my entire stay.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the mattress in my room. I felt like I was sinking into it and my back was hurting each morning, wasn’t the typical Marriott standard mattress.

The hotel itself was nice, staff was great, bar and restaurant were quite pleasant. Location was great for waterfront / Gaslamp access. The AC in the room struggled, and with the large windows taking in sun we couldn’t get the room below 72-73 most of the time. The bathroom also had no fan or ventilation, so showers added to the rooms warmth.

The property is absolutely beautiful, the views from room 1417 were phenomenal, I just wanted to sit on the window sill looking out at the amazing view!
Connie checked me in and was such a kind and pleasant woman, she was fun to chat with and a great welcome. She even shared a favorite recipe with me.
The business rooms were nicely appointed and the catering was good.
I loved being close enough to walk to Little Italy and the harbor. Overall the experience was wonderful. I would be thrilled to stay here again.

I have been staying at this location when on business in excess of six years. I typically arrive very late at night both hungry and in search of a libation. Recently, the hotel made a new addition to their bar staff, Monette (aka Mona 😆). A bubbly young woman who always greets patrons with a smile. If you ask her to make her “best” Old Fashioned at the end of the evening, she always obliges and sets about with a mixologist’s determination rarely seen. I recommend weary travelers always seek out the house chips and salsa as a salty addition to the cold beverages. Monette is surrounded by a staff of others who also bring a welcomed addition to the experience, so when you drop your bags and want a great conclusion to your adventures, no need to look further than The Bar at The Westin San Diego Bayview!

I was given a breakfast voucher because of complications with my room. From the moment I walked in, my server was warm and welcoming. He greeted me with a smile and waited on my every need, even tho he knew I wasn't a paying customer. Daniel Lee, really went above and beyond to make everyone feel special. I will definitely tell everyone I travel with to eat here.

Great stay. Loved the room and location. Appreciated the nice staff and comfy feeling. I enjoyed every night.

Had a wonderful experience at the bar! Great drinks friendly staff! I loved the food recommendations as well! Such a great idea! But David was hands down what made the experience. He was super kind and helpful!

You can do better, the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom and it´s malfunctioning is something that never happen to me in your chain of hotels. I think the personal should put a lot of attention because I reported it several times.

I stayed the weekend here for a friend’s wedding and we really enjoyed everything. The best part was having a drinks down at the bar with David. He was friendly and attentive and made some off menu cocktails for us that were amazing.

Khale was amazing, helpful and kind. This was the kind of customer and human experience we all wish to have!
