Staff kind this time. Very clean

Door broke when we arrived however staff changed our room immediately. I paid for late check out however had a family emergency wasn't able to refund the late check out

Our room door wouldn't shut unless you forced it. We told the person at the front desk and she said she would report the problem

It was a great place to stay while traveling.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable and the desk clerks were nice and efficient.

Cons:

The fan in the bathroom light/fan combo was VERY loud.

It’s a great stop for us to get to our boat in CA. Last time we stayed though we had a trail of ants in our room.
Pros:

Right off the freeway, and quite.

Cons:

The grounds can use to be cleaned up. Dog poop and spider webs everywhere.

Basic two star property overpriced for what it is. A hotel in the middle of nowhere should be priced lower.
Pros:

Right off the freeway and close to dining options. The pilot gas station across the street has a Cinnabon. Free breakfast had options. Cereal, waffle machine, breakfast sandwich and burritos. Lots of close parking. The rooms have a microwave and fridge. The AC works well to cool the entire room.

Cons:

Absolutely no give on checking in a smidge early. I paid for 1pm check in and arrived a little early. Was told to come back at 1pm. It was 100F outside so waiting in my car wasn't an option. So I was waiting in the lobby the entire time. Once it was exactly 1pm on the dot the clerk finally checked me in. There's no elevator so if you can do stairs request the first floor. The gym was quite stinky when we arrived. My aunt that stayed the night prior saw all the towels she left behind still there. There was no way to sanitize equipment and there was no hand sanitizer. The elliptical machine was broken. The room also lacks any kind of ventilation. Rooms are basic and housekeeping was kind enough to just leave us a tiny partial roll of TP. The biggest pet peeve was lack of outlets. You'll need to crawl under a table to unplug something to use your own charger. The ones on the nightstand took 45 minutes to move my iPhone 1%.
