I liked how large it was and the dining area with the pool area was nice

I am a “regular” here at the Doubletree Del Mar - Brian has been like family every time I am here! This hotel has been my “home away from home” because of Brian and the other bar/restaurant staff!!
Location is close to the event that we attended
Daily room service was inadequate. The room was not fully cleaned. Left over coffee cups were left on the counter, not removed or cleaned, coffee, tea and new paper cups were not replenished. After check-out, when we arrived at the airport, I realized that I didn’t have my cross-over with me, which I could either left at the hotel room or in the back seat of the rental car. I called the hotel requesting if they could help look into the room for it. The answer from the front desk was the room service staff won’t be able to do that for another hour and a half, in spite of my begging that I may miss my flight, it was of no help. It turned out that the bag was in the car and the staff at Avis went over and beyond to send several people to go search the bag for me. That’s customer service at Avis, not at Hilton. Very disappointed

Great experience! Staff are wonderful ! Gentleman who works in restaurant with royal blue shirt morning / daytime is exceptional.
Guest Service Manager Sam was the absolute best. We were in the hotel for 2 full days at a work conference and he was so accommodating and helpful. The restaurant bar had great food, all staff was very friendly. Would definitely come back to this hotel.
Brian did an amazing job making sure I was taken care of right away. Brian is amazing and I look forward coming back to the restaurant because of Brian.
Edgar at the Mosaic restaurant was great!
Brian is amazing. Attentive, friendly, caring, and funny. He took exceptional care of our table and went above and beyond to make sure our service was top notch. The service industry needs more Brians.
Excellent service from Edgar and the other waiters at Mosiac Restaurant. Edgar greeted everyone and would stop by the table couple times to see if you needed anything. Edgar and the staff at Breakfast/Buffet were personable, friendly and attentive.
Although our room had a few minor broken parts, the staff were friendly. Edgar and Patton went the extra mile to help me find a missing item.
We would like to thank the entire staff at the Del Mar Doubletree. We needed shelter for four nights due to medical visits nearby. Dylan, Rhys, Marcel and especially Sam were most helpful in securing just the right accommodations for our needs. We’ve been to this hotel many times, and will return again I am sure many more times. Thank you all one more time.
Wonderful suite room , warm welcome at reception, clean environment, and 5 Star Bar service by Shaun. Great Double Tree location. Highly recommend.
