We enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

Very clean and spacious room. Pleasant staff.

Cons:

I was not clear on the included breakfast with my reservation. Having staff review at check in would have helped.

Overall good value, we had a great time in SD— the room was disappointing but served its purpose.
Pros:

With only 1 exception, All of the staff was excellent—friendly responsive, professional. The cookies were great! We were able to get a room prior to 4pm check-in and an upgrade to a pool view room. Great location everything we wanted to do was within 30ish min drive— whether we were headed North or South towards downtown.

Cons:

Room & decor were dated not well maintained—didn’t realize when I made the reservation it was an older hotel—on me I forgot to check. Still, not what I would expect from the Hilton DT brand. Not as clean as expected— stains, hair, dusty, ac vents specifically. We arrived early so rather than wait for King as reserved we took a double queen room. Sheets on bed 1 were visibly stained, no light needed—fortunately the 2nd bed was clean, it passed visual & light inspection. The bed seemed small for a queen, but it was comfortable. We wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and moved on.

Doubletree for the stay!
Pros:

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. Overall the room was clean although the couch and the valance around the bed showed signs of bleach stains. Thank you to the two lovely servers working breakfast on July 6th there were very courteous. On our last night we had a cocktail in the bar where the bartender Brian provided exceptional service and was very personable. If we ever return to the area we will definitely stay at the property

Wonderful pool and kind receptionists
Pros:

Everything was perfect. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed. Receptionists (viktoriia and the other gentleman I couldn’t remember the name I am so sorry) were very helpful and kind. Thank you very much.

Wonderful experience
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a really good location. Couple minutes away from Del Mar which is my favorite beach in San Diego. Best thing is their cookies lol!

Great staff and accommodations. Will return.
Pros:

Very nice location near the highway. Views from room were nice. Pool area was great. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Cons:

Limited parking space. One microwave located on first floor that all guests had to share.

Cons:

Paying for overnight parking was definitely a no-no for me. How would you feel if I invite you to my house and asked you to pay for parking.
The shower was obsolete and half working, the bathroom door barely closing. It is not a Hilton standard, or maybe their standards went down recently.
TV not working - I told the reception and been told it is not them, it's the channel; the thing is, the same channel was working fine in the restaurant and my friends' rooms.
Breakfast not included in the price - therefore the price/value ratio is almost ridiculous. On top of it, freaking Booking.com applied fees+charges at check-out, more than 10%.
