The beds were comfortable . We would stay there again . The staff was friendly
Owned and operated by native Americans, beautiful art and culture within the hotel. Also there is a transfer service to take you into the heart of town. Very easy to book. On selected nights there is entertainment in the lobby.
The comfort of the pullout couch was not the greatest, and needed cleaning inside
shuttle , breakfast were great
Having access to a free shuttle was great. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was very good.
The continental breakfast could have been offered to guests free or at a lesser charge.
location, shuttle, restaurant, grounds, security
can't really say
Besides being the only Native America owned property in Santa Fe, by the Picuris Pueblo, which is a landmark on how the hotel maintains this important milestone, the hotel itself is excellent: very comfortable bed and shower, quiet room with nice views.
The location is also great, allowing access to very good restaurant options around the property and a 10 minute walk to downtown Santa Fe to the Plaza. If you don't want to walk, they offer a free shuttle to the downtown area too.
Hotel will be going through a renovation, which will be great to see once it is finalized, would add:
1) Renovate the Gym with better equipment.
2) Better working desks for Business Traveler, which was my case, but understand this might not be the main travel segment for the hotel audience.
The convenient location. Easy to get to places we intended to go. I grew up in Santa Fe by the railyard, so I know that area pretty well and decided to stay close to what was familiar.
The night road noise of motorcyclists and cars driving - what sounded like - faster than speed limits.
Convenient location, nice room, good shower
Restaurant served “well done” hamburger with pink all the way through - clearly undercooked.
Phenomenal atmosphere that combines both art and culture. Extremely clean rooms and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Delicious food onsite. I look forward to staying here again and won’t stay anywhere else in Santa Fe.
Location and bed.
Elevators did not work.
Lovely property, comfortable rooms, good location, nice shuttle service.
Wait staff in morning was lacking. We had to request additional plates, water, coffee, just very negligent.
I know the hotel well and love it!
Great sunroom restaurant and wonderful fireplace in winter.
Good food and pleasant people.
But...I was terribly disappointed when I arrived there.
Due to renovations there was noise, dust, and chaos.
The worst thing was the fact that the lovely sunroom was closed off for breakfast lunch and dinner, and we could only eat in the dark.(With artificial light all day!)
So... I had my meals in other restaurants in town where I could see the sun and the spring green and blossom trees.
Also the staff seemed quite inexperienced.
If only I had been informed beforehand, I would have changed my plans!!!
The manager of the hotel was willing to give me a discount, but since this had to go through Booking.com I sent you an email with the details.
And I never heard back!!!
Seems the smart thing would have been to book directly with the hotel.
