Homewood Suites Memphis Germantown

We loved how spacious our room was. It seemed new and wad well-kept. My wife loved the smell of the Crabtree and Evelyn hand soap.

We especially loved breakfasts! The meals weren’t like the usual hot breakfast fare at hotels. The woman who prepares the meals should have her own restaurant! There was a different type of scrambled eggs each day, carnitas meat and the ability to make tacos—my wife loved the pork and the pickled red onions. There were red and green salsas and more, and oaxaca cheese. Today also included potato pancakes—like silver dollar sized so you could also enjoy orher menu items. There were also cups of overnight oats with oatmilk and chia pudding. It was SO good!

I was super surprised when we got to this hotel. The hallways are more narrow
than hotels we usually stay at but once inside the room i was pleasantly surprised! The room was like an apartment, with a separate living area/kitchen the down the hallway is the bathroom with the a central sink area and a room with the toilet and tub/shower. It was very clean and I have zero complaints, which is rare for me!! I could definitely stay here for a week(S!) at a time! Ive never said that about a hotel before. Also, instead of the air/heat blowing right on the person next to the window, it’s like a normal house with central air where it blows out vents an isn’t loud at all! Housekeeping does fabulous job and every employee at the desk was super polite and professional! I’d stay here again anytime. Also in the safest part of Memphis that I’ve ever been and I grew up right outside Memphis in Arkansas till I grad high school. Do yourself a favor and checkout this place.
Also, if you’re in the mood for authentic local bbq, there is a place “nearby” that gives you the full Memphis bbq experience from the food to the building. It’s called the Germantown Commissary!

Brittani was my receptionist & she was very helpful & beyond pleasant. Quick to get us to our room. The property is clean and definitely feels while taking care of and safe.

We arrived at the hotel a few minutes after check‑in. Although my mother’s room was listed as ready, the bedding had been removed and left on the floor and the room was filthy. Our room was not available for another two hours, and when we finally entered it we were met with an extremely loud noise from the AC vents. The noise was so loud it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. We reported the problem to the front desk three times during our two‑night stay and asked to switch rooms, but were repeatedly told no. The bathroom showed visible black mold, the seating was in disrepair, and the kitchen area had an unpleasant odor that, on checkout morning, we discovered came from a dishwasher full of dirty dishes left by a previous guest. This was a deeply disappointing experience.

Best place ever to stay. I already have it booked for December. They are all friendly.

Went to check into my **already paid** room, my card kept “declining” for the deposit hold In case you trash the room or something, Anyway I tried 3 different cards with the same declined message. Another customer who was Checking in next to me had the same problem. So obviously this was a hotel problem not a me problem. Anyway I get told to sit down in the lobby until they figured it out. We are tired after traveling 8 hours on the road, we just want to shower and grab some dinner. Still waiting for them to figure it out and
We are still here in the lobby waiting even tho our room is PAID. Ask to see if we can just try later and this worker was very rude, full of attitude and was very condescending. She was a heavy set African American lady with short hair I don’t remember her name. She was just immediately responding with attitude where it was definitely NOT necessary! She should not be the person you have helping people cuz she’s not very good at it. The other young lady there was very nice and professional. Other than that AWFUL Check in experience the room was very nice, spacious, clean and in a very nice area. We would consider coming back to this hotel again because it was so nice but I’m not sure because of the worker. This is the first time we have encountered a rude worker! We travel a lot due to travel sports and this is def the first neg experience.

Very clean and safe hotel. The area seemed very safe. I saw no bugs for the 3 days, 2 nights I was there. The staff was friendly and professional.

The location was great, was central to what we needed to do.
