Okay, but not great.
Pros:

Great location close to everything in downtown Santa Fe. The property is generally quite nice, including attractive common areas, rooms, pool, and meeting rooms.

Cons:

The hotel is generally rundown and could use a good cleaning. The modern decor is incongruous with the historic Santa Fe location. The entire hotel was much more upscale and classic Santa Fe before the renovation ~15 years ago. Unless one is staying there for an event or conference it is not really worth the high price.

Comfortable stay with friendly staff
Pros:

The bedding and mattresses were so comfortable! We also loved the spa treatments offered and the outdoor swimming area. The location is obviously fantastic- walking distance to everything. The staff were so friendly- Adam at the bar was especially kind and JJ the bellman. I would stay again.

Really nice, but you pay for it
Pros:

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable and the location is great. The pool deck and bar is great too.

The price is a bit high for what you get. The rooms seem to be getting dated

Highlight of a 30 day retirement road trip for my wife.
Pros:

Beautiful facility. Utilized the spa and in-house dinner options.

Cons:

Your elevators closed on me as I was entering and exiting. I’m slowing down at 72.

Great location, not-great pool, toe injury bed legs
Pros:

Really excellent location, like 2 blocks from the Plaza. Santa Fe is not easy or convenient to navigate, but Eldorado is basically as good as it gets for location.

Cons:

The pool area looks better than it is. The pool itself is quite small, only really suited for kid play. But the lounge area and chairs is speaking if you feel like baking in the sun.

The hot tubs might have been interesting, but the water was green during my stay.

The bed was comfortable to lie in, but was an absolute room hazard, with legs that STICK OUT to collect and injure toes. I suffered a debilitating injury on my first night that basically ruined my vacation.

Pros:

Conveniently located! The room was perfect, staff courteous, and the views were incredible! We went to the "Golden Hour" in the bar/lounge area to enjoy live Spanish guitar which was such a pleasant treat! The happy hour was perfect.
