Madison Hotel

the Madison Hotel is a really nice place to stay. very clean and friendly. Rods is a really good restaurant.

Hotel was nice, my room was right buy the train station so it was loud.
Hotel towels were hard and felt cheap.
Hotel tissue paper was like sandpaper. (CHEAP)
Breakfast was good and had a nice variety.
Front desk staff was very nice and professional.

Charming, elegant hotel. Wonderfully appointed. And two great restaurants that meet your fine or casual dining needs. Great bars.

Excellent stay, Rooms are very clean with plenty of space. Food at Rods was great. all the staff were friendly from checking in to dining to checking out

What a shame. The ceilings are so low and the bed sheets were itchy. The hotel is a bit rundown and nothing like the pictures on the website. Uber is impossible to get at 8am, due to traffic and school near by. When I finally got one it was $55 to go 10 miles. So I had to leave before 8 or after 9am. Save your money, totally not worth it.

Loved the ambiance and the service. Got stuck at work in the storm and was wonderful having this hotel so close. They even gave me a discount for working at the hospital.

Overall decent stay. I would stay again if needed to. The restaurant is great. Great complimentary breakfast.

We were so happy to get last-minute availability at the nesrby Madison while we struggle to get service from the local gas utilty to raise the frigid emperature in our home. We would suggest some improvemens to room #115: Toilet seat should be secured; serving period ending free breakfast at 10AM should be underlined; hand held shower device would be welcome; shower grab bar is necessary; towell bar near shower would be nice in addition to high robe hook; instructions in larger print could be ina booklet or small binder to explain how to increase the heat; even after putative heat adjustment HVAC unit was pouring out cold air in the morning; instructions for TV could be included in binder/booklet. only one on/off switch on one side of bedside lamp -- next time we'll choose the bed on that side.

Lovely setting for a wedding!!! Well trained servers and food was delicious and reception as well as cocktails sumptuous!

From the moment we arrived, the Front Desk team was fantastic. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles and was always willing to help, which immediately made us feel welcome. It was refreshing to stay at a hotel that was not only beautiful but truly clean. We consistently saw staff caring for the public spaces, and our guest room was spotless. When we requested extra towels, they were delivered quickly.

What really stood out was how the team greeted us in the hallways and checked in to see if we needed anything else. That level of care made a big difference in our stay.

The on site steakhouse, Rod’s, was another highlight. The atmosphere was so inviting and turned out to be a five star experience. The food was outstanding and delicious, and the staff did a wonderful job explaining the menu while allowing us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our meal.

Overall, this hotel and its team set a great example of what hospitality should be. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

Nice surprise, not a cookie cutter hotel. Clean, everything in good condition, nice on-site food selection.

We chose to stay at this hotel for the holidays. Having stayed previously, we knew that the decorations and the ambiance is what we needed during this hectic season.
The stay was magical! Highly recommend this hotel. Take advantage of one of the promotions during the year. Great savings opportunity.
Premium King Suite was far less than what you would end up paying at a 3 star hotel elsewhere.
Train to NYC is at the backside of the property.

The assistant manager was rude, obnoxious, offensive, insulting and aggressive. I would not stay here.

they call the policy - for no reason. the bar/kitchen manager was un professional un reasonable.
