Incredible shopping location, close to both the "standard" shops, but easy stroll to Rue Saint-Honoré for the very fancy, and some Paris specific shops. There's a pretty good Vietnamese sandwich/bánh mì shop around the corner for an easy walking breakfast (Cộng Cà Phê).
With shops come crowds. It's a great calm oasis inside, but when you step outside: you are in the thick of it, for sure. I would say definitely shopping focused: all the cultural stops are easy walks, but shopping feels like the king.

Our room 414 is near the elavator. It was very loud. Every time someone takes the elavator we are awake.
The location is good . The bathrooms has been updated. Staff tried to accommodate.
We came to stay 4 nights, and I had booked a superior room because as from the pictures and description from booking.com it looked good. Once we stepped in the Hotel it was clear that the Hotel is not so much up to date. Worn interior and no attention to any details. The room was so old , outdated interior - floors so creaking , worn panels, worn carpets, worn closets. You could hear everything that went on in the rooms next door...The pictures from booking.com was way too flattering, and as soon as you enter you will not see the resemblance. There is no fresh flowers in the room, its all just photos ! The bathrooms are updated, but even though - the faucet was missing something , and the sink had a shard. The size of the room is unbelievable small , I measured 40 cm from wall to bed, impossible to move around , and no chance to have any luggage open at any time. The room fits only 1 person. The housekeeping we had was useless, we came home to find no toilet paper, no new robe, and the extra duvets that we had asked for before we arrived had not been given....I had to remind them. That duvet was just piled up in a bunch on the bed. The cleaning staff had not 2 words of english to communicate. I asked for another room as soon as we came, but nothing available. We had to wait 2 nights , then we got a bigger room from a friendly staff and Manager - here we could move around and we could open the luggage. Staff was trying, but in general I was so surprised to see the lack of things that worked well. Room service was bringing the wrong food even though a lady wrote down the order while I was seeing her take the note. The day we left a needed a scale for checking the suitcases, and the whole hotel had only 1, that nobody could find. A member then went out to buy a scale.... We will unfortunately not stay here again. Booking.com is not honest with the pictures & the price tag was not at all justified.
Nice location
Walking distance to landmarks
Friendly staff
My mother had booked me a superior room. 418
The room was very small and only big enough for staying short time. The rooms are very old in the interior worn and the carpets dirty many places with large visible stains. You can hear everything that is happening from the rooms next door. The bathroom was clean but smelled of sewer some of the time.
There was a big fly smashed in the drapes by the TV, that was not cleaned by housekeeping.
The bedding was not clean, as there was several stains visible on the bedding. The room did not resemble the pictures from Booking.com where you see flowers on the desk next the bed. ( From C.Fischer)
Amazing stay in top location
I like everything
A Real French Dream taking place in Paris, in a Palace located in the Most Iconic area of a city with many Beautiful Iconic areas. Steps from Placé Vendome, home to Exclusive shopping and the Breathtaking Brass column topped with the statue Napoleon. The safest area in France and visited by the World Elite from Royalty to Movie Stars and the Super Wealthy for over 100 years. The Westminster Hotel worthy of this Area for Several reasons… 1. The owner spared no expense to create a Royal Stay with true Parisian furnishings and decor. I’ve stayed at every Super Luxury Hotel in Paris with prices ranging from 600€ to 2500€ and The Westminster is the Prettiest and the lowest priced but their true Secret to their Golden Reputation is the STAFF. Hand picked for their Glowing, Uplifting, Welcoming, Warm and Friendly Personalities… they treat guests like family and we’re sad to leave them. Every single doorman smiles, welcomes you, uplifts your mood, runs to you with an umbrella when it’s raining, won’t let you open a door because they want to do it for you even their Super Sweet Security Person ran outside with 2 umbrellas for us, he heard my wife coughing and appeared with water asking if we are ok( We Love Him, all the Doormen, Front Desk(there was a Super Sweet Man who checked us back in for our last 2 Days after our French Riviera Monaco Adventure, He’s a Star too) Concierge team, Housekeepers like Paulina and room service persons. When we checked out, the Doormen were so sweet and kind and with a huge smile said “we’ll miss you, come back soon” which was so Powerfully Sweet and reminded us when we first arrived… Walid the Concierge and a doorman came up to us with HUGE GLOWING SMILES, WELCOMING US BACK, IT WAS ELECTRIFYING, my wife still talks about it❤️. SO, visit the Most Beautiful Luxury Hotel in Paris, the Best Location in Paris, the Best Priced with the Best Staff(we call family) in the World. Thank You to the HOTEL DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS MANAGER AND FRONT OFFICE MANAGER AND AMAZING STAFF for another WONDERFUL STAY, we missed you as we. drove away in our Rolls Royce AIRPORT Transfer.

Amazing team, very attentive, ahead of anything we asked for. Location is superb.
Whilst the whole bathroom seems refurbished, the shower was a bit of a struggle due to the shower head being very weak.
