I enjoyed everything about the place. I liked looking at the river. The breakfast was great.
The mattress was my biggest problem. I woke up with alot of back pain.
The property was beautiful & great location
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Loved the popcorn that was offered every night!
Location and accommodating staff.
It was very nice and clean
Decent free breakfast, by the river w/ river view.
Oolder dated hotel, could use some remodeling.
The river view eating breakfast.
The view. We loved sitting on the balcony watching the ducks & geese.
Could update the carpet but other than that everything was perfect.
When I stay in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, I stay at the Inn On The River! It's always immaculate and convenient to everything. The staff is so friendly and helpful...really southern, and when I come home I like that. It is so relaxing to sit out on the room balcony by the river. This place has EVERYTHING that the more expensive "name" hotels have to offer. It's my go to stay.
The Inn on the River in Pigeon Forge was excellent. On short notice we decided to take a couple of days for a last trip of summer vacation. I had seen a few posts of The Inn on the River and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The rooms were nice and clean, at a reasonable price. My daughter loved the pools and hot tub. Definitely will go back!
Very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable.
We have a wonderful experience with The Inn on the River which started with Madison who booked our reservation. She was the kind of employee you would want to clone for her genuine warmth, knowledge and courteous nature. Our whole experience with The Inn ended with our dreading to leave.
Just got back from staying there for 7 nights .We have stayed there multiple times I would still give them 5 stars Great Friendly staff James and Brian and the other crew sorry i forgot names are great to deal with check in was easy. The food staff Daniel and wyatt and the crew worked very hard at the breakfast very good selection of food and very clean great job. Also a big shout out to Nathan at the pool He opened the door so i could get my Grandson shirt he left in there after hours thank you. And last the cleaning crew did a great job on our room all we needed was fresh towels but they made the beds and cleaned daily your crew worked very hard. If you are looking for a nice place to stay that is still family owned this is the place for you it is clean, friendly, Breakfast,2 pools, hottub, close to everything and best of all they won't gouge you on the price what more could you ask for we will be back thank you from steve and kathy king and family 5 stars
Great room literally on the river. A lot of the places say they are on the river, but they're not! Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. A very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Great for families! Had some issues with a third party reservation. And Brian went above and beyond to get it, straightened out. Even the manager Barbie who was home got involved. If you're thinking about staying in
Gatlinburg. Pigeon Forge is very close and much nicer and spread out. We actually stayed two extra days.
My 7-year-old grandson loved the breakfast as did I. The complimentary popcorn, cookies, cucumber water, coffee, and cappuccino were a wonderful addition to our stay.
The early morning noise of people going down the hallway to breakfast.
