A nice hotel with a poor room deposit philosophy
Cons:

I didn't like getting hit with an additional $100 room deposit upon arrival and being told that the hotel wasn't responsible for when that would be returned and no timeframe for that return.

Never Stay Sonesta
Pros:

I like the location near food and shopping. I also liked the pillows.

Cons:

I did not like that the hotel was nearly empty and requested a deluxe double queen with balcony/patio seemed to be an inconvenience. After I was switched to a balcony they gave me a room with a sliding door without a patio and chair. Instead it opened to a landing of grass with a sewer pipe sticking out of the ground. No patio no chair. Completely useless! I specifically booked the room for use of the patio, heated pool, laundry on site in room coffee and free continental breakfast. I received none of those things. The laundry was broken, no patio even after request, no breakfast, coffee maker in room was dirty and packets were dusty, pool was ice cold and the reception desk attendant only said SORRY the website was wrong about that or Sorry maintenance will have to fix that. Then only offered coffee for a fee in the lobby. It was absolutely disappointing. This was my first and last stay at Sonesta! I will never recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The stars should change from 3 to 1. booking.com should drop this location for false advertisement.
