Cute
Ice machines weren’t working
Very nice pool and hot tubs, lots of room and great views of the palm trees. Very nicely decorated in bright colors. Good drinks and food available poolside. All in all a great place to stay in PS.
No complaints
The pool view n the food was great!
Staff could have been a little more happy.
The retro, colorful vibe and the pool
It is too bad that the hotel isn't being kept up. It was filthy. The exterior, doors, hallways, pool furniture were gross. Everything needs to be painted. The icemakers on second and third floor didn't work. When I told a woman at reception she lied and said they had been working all weekend and she would report it. Four days later still not working. The room was clean, just worn out. Carpet was stained and bathroom floor was gross. Coffee pods were not replenished and I had to ask 3 times to get some. Also ran out of paper coffee cups and no one could find any. I finally got some from the restaurant. I had very loud people in the room next to me. The hotel was mostly empty so why did they have to be in the next room?
I stayed at The Saguaro Palm Springs hotel last weekend, from Friday night through Sunday morning. The evening after checking out, I realized I had left my toothbrush along with my shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom of my room.
I called the hotel on Monday morning to report the items. I was told by the front desk that Room 218 had not yet been cleaned, so nothing had been reported as found, and I was advised to call back the following day.
When I called again yesterday, I was transferred to housekeeping, where no one answered and no one returned my call. Since I was already traveling for business, I decided to stop by the hotel in person on my way back to follow up.
At that point, I was told the room had been cleaned and that a new guest was now staying there, and that nothing had been reported as found. I asked if I could at least view the Lost and Found items myself, but I was not allowed to do so and was told that only housekeeping handles that.
As a last effort, I spoke directly with someone from housekeeping. After they spoke with a supervisor, I was again told that nothing had been found. I mentioned that I had also left a red shampoo and conditioner, only to be told yet again that nothing had been recovered.
What I find extremely concerning is that the staff member specifically referred to my toothbrush as “electric.” I never once stated that it was an electric toothbrush, yet she somehow knew this detail. I have since checked and completely emptied all of the bags I had with me during my stay. The toothbrush, shampoo, and conditioner are absolutely nowhere to be found. I am 100% certain these items were left in the bathroom of the hotel room.
It is incredibly disheartening and upsetting to feel that items left behind by paying guests may simply be kept by housekeeping and then denied when asked about. While these items may not be expensive, that does not excuse the situation. If this is how small, everyday items are handled, it is frankly alarming to think about what would happen if something truly valuable were left behind.
Because of this experience, I will never be booking a stay at this hotel again. And while I had already been disappointed by other aspects of the property: including peeling paint in the room, an unpleasant odor on the first floor, and a generally dingy appearance that does not match the photos online. Those issues were unpleasant but tolerable. Keeping hotel guests' personal items, however, is completely unacceptable and crosses a line.
I expected better professionalism and honesty than what I experienced.
Hotel room is really worn and gives the impression of being dirty. Not happy about paying $90 for a daybed with no service and other people getting the same access for free. On the plus side, the staff was friendly.

I liked that the property has that Palm Springs esthetic. It also offers a lot of cool things to do in house.
The room was a bit dated and needed some touch ups but nothing I couldn’t look past or crazy.

The staff was nice about the horrible experience.
Checked in. In the room for less than 10 minutes. Immediately checked out. The bathroom floor was filthy and had blood splatter on the wall. There was a COCKROACH crawling on the pillow. When we checked out, the concierge didn’t seem surprised at all.
I have been going there 5 yrs for my birthday. Love the location. Always have a great time there.
