Ayres Suites Yorba Linda

Over the past month, driving cross country, we have stayed at a lot of hotels, mostly Holiday Inn Express. When I booked this hotel I was a bit unsure about it because it is an independent and largely an unknown to me.
However...what a pleasant surprise!
Let me just hit the bullet points.
The room was huge and well equipped, microwave, refrigerator. But it also had a couch, a small table with two chairs and a writing desk.
The room was beautifully decorated.
TV worked well and had plenty of channels.
WiFi worked well.
King bed and pillows were very comfortable.
The room and the bathroom were very clean
The room was very quiet.
Stress free.
Breakfast was excellent.
Nice happy hour.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Really a great hotel at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend it.

Very nice, clean top notch, I will book again

We loved the large King Studio apartment. It was nice watching the eggs, pancakes and French Toast being cooked in the open kitchen. Pleasant, hard working staff at desk, in the cafe and housekeeping.
We extended our stay twice. Thanks!

I would stay again. The only issue was the dirty sticky floor.

We stayed here for 1 week and our visit would have been amazing if it wasn’t for the manager that works there. I wish I got her name but she is older, and has long blonde hair, and glasses, and she was SO unbelievably rude, and totally ruined our stay here. She knocked on our door one day saying she was house keeping, and when we opened the door, we saw that it was just her and indeed NOT house keeping (not sure why she had to lie?) and then she asked us if she could take a look inside our room, why? I don’t know, but we told her yes, and she came in and took a look around, and was completely rude to me before she left commenting to me about how I was sitting in one of the chairs in OUR room, and then left. Later we find out that she was saying that we were throwing bedding away? Which is not true!! And we have no idea where she even came up with that! Then when it came time to check out, my boyfriend and I made sure our room was nice and clean and spotless because we felt like she was the type of person that would try to charge us later on for some crazy charge trying to say we left our room dirty or something like that, so after we checked out I realized I forgot to take a picture of how clean we left our room, so I tried taking a picture of it through the window from the outside, and the manager went to check the room RIGHT after we left, so she walked in while I was trying to take a picture of the room and walked straight to the window and closed the curtains on me so I couldn’t take any pictures of how clean the room was!! (You can see in my pictures where I got her right before she closed the curtains on me) Too bad for her I had already gotten a couple pictures but HOW UNBELIEVABLY RUDE OF HER!!! The amount of disrespect she showed us, and how uncomfortable she made us feel really ruined our time there, and we were really disappointed because we were having a good time up until she ruined it for literally NO reason at all!! I can’t believe how unprofessional the manager is compared to the employees. The employees there were nothing but nice and respectful, but the manager needs to go through customer service training again, or find another profession because she completely fails when it comes to treating the guest with respect, or even just having manners. I’m still in complete shock with how unprofessional, and totally rude the manger was to us, and I’m extremely upset because it completely ruined our time, and our stay there, and we will definitely never be coming back here again! My advice is to find a new manager asap because your current one doesn’t know how to treat the guest right at all!! Very disappointed and very upset!!

Breakfast definitely was a big hit. French toast and sausage the first morning and pancakes and bacon the second. Huge selection so you should be able to find something you like. Pool and jacuzzi were clean and perfect to help cool off during the little heat wave we were having. Only El Torito right next door and since no sidewalks, the walk to Wahoo's was a bit sketchy- - - luckily, it's not a busy street...but if you are with young kids, it wouldn't be a great walk, even though it's only about 10 min away.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. Always eager to help and make our stay enjoyable. Beautiful hotel and we will definitely stay again.
