The Alexis Royal Sonesta Hotel Seattle

The Alexis Hotel is in an excellent downtown location, within easy walking distance of the stadium, Pike Place Market, and many restaurants. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and full of character, despite being in an older building. Robin at the front desk was especially welcoming and attentive, providing excellent service to every guest.
We stayed here for a soccer game, and the location couldn't have been more convenient.

Location! Walked to a Seattle Mariners v Boston Red Sox game and also explored the waterfront.

The staff was great, everyone at the desk was extremely helpful and kind.
They went out of their way to give us the information we asked for.
We were able to check-in early which was great!

Brilliant location for those looking to be close to the pier and Pike’s, without being in the congestion of it all. Less than 10 min walk to all the iconic locations present. Storyville coffee, located on the corner of the same building, was cozy with a beautiful Cortana and house made milk alternative made with cashew and coconut milk; a must try!

The atmosphere was tastefully hip and moody without being gaudy. The carpeting felt lush, but beware as there are unexpected inclines en route to the elevators that made these tired travels trip up on a few occasions. Otherwise, the room door access are convenient to the elevator where you won’t be walking yards unending to find your room which was nice!

Rooms themselves are intentionally minimalistic which allows you to unpack to your own level of comfort. The furniture has character and takes up aesthetic positioning while keeping the room open and cozy at the same time.

The staff was personable and professional. We had a wonderful experience with Noble who was extremely busy upon check in, but still took time to converse and check in with us and our experience. We were so grateful to Noble for such a generous welcome to Seattle that immediately put us in vacation mode so we could begin to enjoy our time.

We were here only one night before we set sail for our cruise, but regret not spending more time at this beautiful property and brilliant location.

We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the Sonesta again!

I always enjoy my stay at the Alexis Royal whenever I come to Seattle for work, but this trip really stood out because of the exceptional service.
My dinner was mistakenly delivered to the wrong room—the delivery photo didn’t include a room number, and the driver had a completely different room number listed than mine. I stopped by the front desk to see if anyone had turned it in, and Rickey immediately took the time to help me track it down.
His willingness to go above and beyond turned what could have been a frustrating situation into a great experience. It truly made my evening. Thank you, Rickey, for the outstanding customer service!

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, so glad we picked this spot. The bookstore bar has excellent cocktails and everyone has made us feel warm and welcome.

Has a great stay, location was excellent for walking around too. Appreciated the complimentary waters. Staff was excellent especially Robin who was always eager and available to help out!

After 16 hours of travel and absolutely no sleep, I arrived tired, grumpy, and running on fumes. Then I met Noble and Robin at the front desk, and they completely turned my day around.

Noble made check-in effortless with the perfect mix of humor, kindness, and helpful information. He was lighthearted, funny, and genuinely welcoming when I needed it most.

Robin was an absolute bundle of joy! Not only was she warm and upbeat, but she also gave me the best local sandwich shop recommendations. By the time I left the front desk, I was actually laughing instead of dragging myself to my room.

If these two are your first impression of Seattle, you’re in for a great stay. They made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and that’s something I’ll remember.

10/10. Book it, book it, book it! You won’t regret it.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. Bathroom was big and modern. It was in a great location for our trip for the FIFA World Cup being walking distance to the stadium and the waterfront. The concierge was so friendly and helpful. The barista in the Bookstore Cafe was also very friendly and accomodating.

Convenient and rooms were very nice. Rooms felt luxe and moody. Shower was great and bathroom was modern. The front desk was helpful to get us checked-in and even placed my family on the same floor.

Amazing service (Noble is the best!). Huge rooms. Comfy bed. Love the shower water pressure. Great restaurant for dinner. Incredible coffee shop next door. Best stay I’ve had in Seattle and I’ve basically stayed everywhere here for work. Will be back! Thank you!
