We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on our first visit to Fukuoka.
The major selling point of this hotel is its location which is located about 5 minutes walk from Hakata station. Hakata station is a major transit point whereby the JR trains and Shinkansen stops. Not forgetting too the subway stop for 2 of the city's subway lines. To get to the hotel, look for the exit 24 West which will lead you to the junction and after crossing it, the hotel is right in front.
If you are arriving at the international terminal, take the free bus to the domestic terminal which is about 5 minutes ride. Then get onboard the subway which is the Airport line and in 5 minutes you arrive at Hakata station.
Many places of interest are located within walking distance from the hotel like Canal city, Tenjin, Kushida shrine, Kawabata shopping arcade etc. The subway lines from Hakata also takes you to most of the attractions in Fukuoka like the Fukuoka castle, Ohori park, Nishi park, Hakata port tower etc. Food is not an issue as you can easily find restaurants, cafes, bakeries and the ever popular convience stores in the vicinity.
Staff are friendly and greet you whenever they meet you. The only issue is that the furniture could do with a bit of upgrade. Otherwise, we are rather okay with the room and facilities provided.
Overall a good hotel to stay in considering the rate we paid. Will stay again if we do come by Fukuoka.
駅近だが、静かだった。
ロビーの椅子が少なく、待ち合わせが不便だった
The rating is adjusted to reflect the good location, the relative scarcity of nice hotels in the area, and the relatively low room rate - if not any of that, the rating would be lower. The room was old with dirty carpet and in need for renovation but it was functional with good size for Japanese standards - no issue staying there. Bedding quality was rather good - nothing upscale but I was able to sleep well despite the jetlag. The restaurant was disappointing, had dinner there one night and I regretted it - mediocre food of cheap quality that is more western than Japanese. The staff was truly great - as polite and helpful as one could wish for, certainly made the stay at the hotel more pleasant.
地點
地毯很髒、落塵大、設施老舊
Staying at this hotel felt like we were stuck in the 1990s…the room was so dated, and honestly we have stayed at newer budget chains (Holiday Inn, Best Western) in the US. So needless to say, if you are looking for the typical Japanese perfectionism, you won’t find it here. The room smelled so musky that we had to turn on the air purifier, and this was our first time doing so during our 11 days traveling through Japan and staying at various hotels. Not to mention, the shower curtain was inside out and missed the first ring hole. The location was the only positive at this hotel, about a 5 mins walk from the Hakata station. This was the only hotel during our trip that had a gym, but it didn’t feel very inviting so I left within 10 mins. Lastly, the price was on the higher end, so I would advise looking at other options.
Close to Hakata station
Very small room with bare minimum amenities in the room and in the hotel more broadly. Tiny room was poor value for money.
Location is good and near malls and Pokemon centre.
Booked quite near to travel date and it was really expensive. The hotel room is very dated and even the switches are like the old school kind where lights are all connected via one switch at the door. Toilet bowl was stinky throughout our three nights stay. Hotel goes by central airconditioning and it was so hot. We had to sign a form to allow them to open up our windows. For the three nights we could hear ambulance and police sirens in the midnight as they drove past.
駅から近い。スタッフの方々の接客が丁寧でキビキビ動いてる印象を受けました。
よくよく見るとベッドのリネンに経年劣化による糸つれがあって年季を感じてしまった。シャワーの設備も結構古めかしいと思いました。
