Amazing breakfast, attentive staff and superb location especially for a first time visit to Tokyo. The gym is also above average for a hotel. We'll definitely consider coming back. The room was a little outdated but super clean and comfortable nonetheless.
Nothing in particular. A coin laundry would have been a nice addition but I understand it might not jive with the brand.
ممتاز محطه المترو قريبه الفندق نظيف وكل شي تحصل قريب منك ومريح والغرفه بارده والفيو ولا غلطه
الغرفه شوي صغيره لكن لا باس
Everything was very good including the service, room condition abd food quality.35th floor club lounge server Yasuyo Shimada was so kind.
I chose this hotel without any prior knowledge as a friend was staying at the Okura. from the moment we arrived to the time we left we felt welcome and were always engaged by the staff. We ate breakfast daily at Cascade. Drank at Mixx and dined at Atrium and the Steakhouse. Fabulous food drink and service. Our room was a modest size but exceptionally appointed and ticked all th boxes for us. A short walk the the subways for access to the Ginza Line and we could basically get anywhere in the city.
I cant recommend this hotel highly enough.
About breakfast buffet. Almost all workers are non Japanese and you cannot expect attentive Japanese customer service.
The restaurant manager was a foreigner as well and he looked stuck up walking around the restaurant. I talked to him briefly and he was very mean.
The rice bowls and miso soup bowls are the same big ceramic one and totally lack of sensitivity of Japanese presentation.
I will not spend my money there again.
Hotel is located just a minute walk away from subway Ginza line, but will need to walk about 7 minutes to get to the track. Generally accessible to most places in Tokyo but not at the heart of the city. Supermarket and convenience store is located within 3 minutes walk from the hotel too.
Booking was upgraded to Mizu suite with IHG suite upgrade voucher, though request for Tokyo tower view rooms was not available since rooms are fully booked during my stay. Room is big by Japan standards with a sofa/tv area, though not separated by any walls or partition to the bed. The room is renovated not too long ago and feels modern and comfortable with the wall/colour selection. Bathroom is spacious with separated auto toilet and shower with a separate bathtub. Amenities are provided with decent quality, additional items such as skincare for female and be provided upon request.
Breakfast and lounge access were available with IHG status/lounge pass. Usual breakfast dining hall is under works during my stay which alternative option of a restaurant or intercontinental lounge at L36 were provided. Restaurant offers a classic Japanese bento meal with semi buffet spread of fruits and salads along with small selection of sushi bites. L36 offers a buffet spread with both Japanese and western food which is a decent spread, but definitely not meant to host the crowd usually hence could feel space a little more tight. Both places had good tasting breakfast though and fruits are nice which melons (not Yubari standard definitely but still good enough) were available too.
Highlight of the stay was definitely the intercontinental lounge at L35 which you can access either with a lounge pass or a booking with lounge access. Breakfast here had a smaller buffet spread as compared to the main hall but provided a small Ala carte made to order mains. Quality of food were also higher than the regular ones such as Yoghurt and fruits which tasted clearly more superior than the L35 or restaurant. High tea was alright with three-tier sweet/savoury bites and a small selection of fruits/biscuits in buffet style and of course with tea/coffee through the extensive menu. Though I surely felt half of the menu were repeated on consecutive days, nothing missed out if you didn’t make it. Cocktail were great with higher quality of alcohol selection than most other property including Moet champagne, the Tokyo Aerosol is definitely a must try here. Comes along with a good spread of bites to go along with, both Japanese and western style.
There is a gym on site with adequate equipment though can be over populated easily since there are many rooms in the properly. Changing room is big and clean too with a sauna as well. Swimming pool is available only during summer, so did not get to check it out this trip.
Staff are simply welcoming and prompt to assist, excellent services as always.
Overall a very comfortable stay that done everything right if not beyond expectations. Will definitely return again.
Beautiful modern rooms and super clean all around. Excellent service and we really enjoyed our stay as a family of 4. Hope to be back soon! Arigato
