Pros:

The room, bed, TV and shower were fine.

Cons:

Fitness center was bad. No cleaning supplies or water,no door, the lights kept going out, and 1 of the 3 machines was dead. There was a weight bench but no weights. Breakfast food was fine but not nearly enough seating. It was packed and people had to carry their food and drink back to their rooms.

The breakfast advised waffles and even had a waffle picture in the serving area. No waffles just bagels and English muffins. Bagels were not fresh.
The tv had political station on while I am trying to telax—why???

Cons:

The room: always damp and wet requiring 66 degree setting to try to remove. Bathroom door would not close. Shower leaked all over floor all the time

Premium remodel
Pros:

One of the nicest hotels that's been newly redecorated. The room and bathroom were beautifully remodeled...better than new. very comfortable for me.

Best Hotel in South Bend Indiana
Pros:

5 *****GREATLY exceeded our expectations! CLEAN and a great value for new, clean and professional hotel. We left a bad aibnb for a 230am check in. Michelle greeted us and made it smooth and easy. She is professional, kind, accommodating and cares about customers. She went above and beyond, willing to show us our room before we paid. She deserves some recognition. The new rooms had cool a/c, nicely decorated, quiet, CLEAN and comfortable. The shower waterfall is amazing and great pressure with great soaps and hair care products. The bed was comfortable and the staff goes above the norm cleaning. We loved the book light and several phone charging ports! It smells clean and every time we are there they are cleaning. The gentleman who runs the breakfast is attentive and keeps it stocked. He frequently cleans tables and chairs. The couple who cleans rooms seemed to spend a lot of time in each room in the mornings. I could go on and on. Grateful for a hotel that is clean and new with attention to detail. Hope the pool is open when we return and the breakfast has biscuits and gravy! We missed the snacks mentioned in reviews but hopefully next time! We.will stay when in South Bend!! Highly recommend. Good job staff!!
