Perfect location, wonderful ambiance, beautiful hotel. Staff was warm, friendly and professional!!
Nothing
Location is perfect
Outside area closed
Very pet friendly. Friendly staff. Beautiful reception areas (really lovely!!!) Lovely room. Central location. Easy to find. Free welcome drinks.
Parking is about a block away and codes needed etc but honestly not a problem in such an old town. It didn't put us off.
That feeling of a home away from home...
The staff are magnificent and the hotel pays attention to detail: a drink upon arrival, they send you away with water and cookies.
Breakfast room is beautiful and a lit up fireplace in the drawing rooom is dreamy.
The lovely terrace overlooking the river was closed😟.
Location. In the center. The room with the window to the river. The view.
Nice old fourniture but it looked old, old smell. Tea room but I didnt see other 4* facilities. No internet on tv, i couldn't watch YouTube or other streammings. Basic breakfast. Far from the bus station to the train station.
At 12.00 I asked them to order a taxi for me for the next day. In the evening I canceled it. During the night in felt bad and at 7.00, next morning, I asked again to order the taxi for me for 8.00. Thé man from the noted on a paper. I think it was not his duty to do it. At 8.00 I waited for the taxi and it didnt come. The man who was then told me to wait. After 15 minutes Il asked him why the taxi still don't come and he realised that nobody ordered the taxi for me. I had only 15 minutes to take the flixbus back to home. Thanks God that they taxi driver was good enough to Bring me to thé flixbus stop in time. But i had no excuses from thé réception for this mistake. I could loose the bus for returning home beacuse of them and not any "We are sorry ". Before leaving, at thé réception, during check out, the first man gave some biscuits and à bottle of water as a leaving gift, but thé second man gave only biscuits, no water to the touristes. Too expensive for what they offer. Not 4* hotel, but 3.
Beautiful property on the canal.
Nothing.
Alles perfekt

The hotel is a stunning and very historic building located right by the water. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a classic style and were very clean. We had originally booked three nights, but ended up leaving earlier than planned.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the charm of the property. The staff came across as arrogant and unhelpful from the very beginning. When we addressed our concerns with the manager, he reacted in an extremely rude, dismissive and uncooperative manner. The other reception staff behaved just as unfriendly and condescending. This was especially disappointing because we had been looking forward to staying at this beautiful hotel for a long time.
Our room was cleaned by a very young student, who told me she only works there twice a week. She understandably did not know exactly, what was missing in the room or what needed to be cleaned. For a hotel in this price category, one expects trained, professional staff – not inexperienced students, who are left alone with tasks they cannot properly fulfill.
I would also like to mention that the staff in question were not Belgian. Normally this would not matter at all, but in this case it felt as if they had no connection to the hotel and no real interest in making guests feel welcome. To make this hotel truly pleasant and attractive, the management and reception team would need a complete overhaul.
To make matters worse, we ended up paying for one night we did not stay – another sign of the manager’s unacceptable attitude. For the prices charged here, the level of professionalism was far below expectations.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. There are many other places in Bruges where guests are genuinely welcomed and treated with respect.
Great location. Beautifully decorated interiors and lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful
