Wonderful, unique hotel. Beautifully restored and fabulously furnished. Great location, close to heart of city, and right on the canal. Enige puntje is de opstap naar de locatie aan de andere kant van de weg. Met een kinderwagen een kleine uitdaging, maar mocht de pret absoluut niet drukken.

Only issue was having to pay double the cost of the room with a sum held as a gratuity and it taking a few days to return to my bank account. That’s a banking issue I would assume but still a lot of money to be without.

We recently stayed for two nights at Hotel de Orangerie in Bruges with our dog and had the most wonderful experience. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the centre and within easy walking distance of everything, with beautiful views over the water.
Breakfast was great and is something I would highly recommend.
As we were travelling with our dog, we had breakfast in the lounge where dogs are permitted which has an open fire and views over the water. Staff are very friendly.
We didn’t park at the hotel but instead used the Pandreitje underground car park, which is about a 5-minute walk away. In March 2026 it cost €17 per 24 hours.
We would highly recommend this hotel and would happily return!

The staff were friendly and very attentive. The location right by the river in the centre of Brugge is great. Breakfast was exceptionally well presented and a real treat.
Parking is a pain. If you’re driving, find another hotel. We asked for a parking space but when we arrived all spaces were taken. We were given the option of a nearby public car park; when we got there it was full. We then had to drive to another car park near the Novotel, which was open but don’t go in there with a large SUV type vehicle. From arriving in Brugge to parking our car took 60 precious minutes! Housekeeping needs upgrading, hairs in the shower, doors with grime marks, thick dust on the floor boards behind the bed ….. Not luxury. Finally, who puts a huge fridge in a hotel room, the thing made so much noise we couldn’t sleep.
