Pros:

Decor, ambiance, location, bed size

Cons:

It was nice overall but there was a lack of attention to detail. The room was dusty in some places, the coffee at breakfast is not good, the options at breakfast are quite standard - no freshly made pancakes or waffles. The free drink card at check in doesn’t get you many options if you don’t drink alcohol. For the price, was expecting more. Music in the lounge areas is terrible. Flowers are plastic

Super séjour ! Merci aux équipes.
Pros:

L'atmosphère tamisée, le jeu d'échecs en savourant un verre, la localisation, le petit déjeuner. Bref, de nombreux atouts pour un hôtel où nous reviendrons.

Absolutely worth a stay.

Beautifully clean hotel, really comfortable with very friendly staff. Gorgeous breakfast too - excellent range of foods, and they catered for dietary requirements too. We stayed two nights and would very happily stay there again.

A great choice for a short Bruges trip
Pros:

We stayed here for one night as part of our quick trip to Bruges.

Ideal location on the canal, a warm welcome, and consistently good service. The cosy lounge is a really nice spot to spend time in. Booking direct came with a few nice touches. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome drink - I had a glass of their excellent champagne. We were even sent off with biscuits at check out.

Only niggle was the bathroom glass door and the automatic light that stayed on a bit too long during the night.

Would happily stay again.

Lovely escape
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel with exceptional customer service and attention to detail. This was my second time staying here and I was throughly satisfied. The room was lovely, very romantic decor, like an escape back in time. Both the bed and the bedding were so comfortable and luxurious.

Pros:

Grazie.

Cons:

Nulla. Tutto benissimo.

Excellent Service Friendly Staff
Pros:

The hotel is located in a car-free area of Brugge, something I only realised when I was informed on arrival. The hotel does offer parking, but spaces are extremely limited and must be reserved in advance. There are public car parks nearby, but these can easily be full—as they were when we arrived. Overall, this makes the hotel a somewhat awkward choice if you are travelling by car and, if I were to visit Brugge again, I might consider staying elsewhere.
When we arrived, reception was staffed by just one person. As two parties arrived at the same time, we had to wait a while before we could check in.
Our room was not in the main building but across the road on the top floor—these rooms have names, something with “Peter.” The room itself was spacious and had good views, and the décor was acceptable. The bathroom and toilet were in separate rooms. There is a very large fridge in the room which makes a noticeable noise, so this could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. The bed was comfortable and the linen was excellent. The toiletries were also of good quality.
Unfortunately, we found the housekeeping below the standard the hotel seems to aim for. There were foreign hairs in the bath, the back of the bathroom door needed cleaning, and there was thick dust on the floor behind the headboard. My wife complained of an unpleasant smell in the room - something I could not verify.
The hotel is located right in the centre of Brugge by the river. While this contributes to the parking challenges mentioned earlier, it also means you can enjoy wonderful strolls through the old town.
We did not try the restaurant, but the bar is open 24 hours, which is great, and we received a complimentary welcome drink. The windows in both the bar and restaurant overlook the river, which is lovely. Breakfast was very well presented and extremely delicious.
The staff at this hotel are an absolute delight and provide service that easily reaches a five-star level and beyond.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Brugge, although it would have been significantly improved if we hadn’t had to spend nearly an hour searching for somewhere to park.
