Schlafen im Dschungel
Pros:

Ein schönes, sauberes "Hotel". Die Kombination zwischen Wohnraum und Natur ist sehr gut gelungen. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett, höflich und sprechen gut Englisch. Der Pool könnte mal wieder aufgefüllt werden. Leider ist der Strand wegen der Algen nicht bis zum Meer begehbar und schwimmen war auch nicht möglich. Direkt vor dem Hotel wurde auch nichts von den Algen weggeräumt - im Gegensatz zu anderen Strandbereichen. Schade! Mitarbeiter wären jedenfalls genug vorhanden gewesen, die Zeit gehabt hätten, da Nebensaison ist und kaum bis wenig Gäste im Hotel waren.

The picture on line were beautiful but it was not what we got .

The rooms were great

Cons:

The beach was unavailable due to sea grass . They were not even trying to clear it
My understanding is it’s this way most of the year. If the beach is unavailable you would think the grounds like pool bar ect would be exceptionally great . It wasn’t it was dated and nothing about the grounds made me think I wanted to stay at the property during the day. The property needs some TLC

Exotic place, good for a night or two.
Pros:

Exotic, beautiful, artistic, blended with nature, unique pool. June had few guests, pool was all ours.

Cons:

Bad coffee, expensive drinks, sarcasm prevented beach fun.

Would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning

The rooms themselves are quite unique and beautiful

Cons:

Much of the property still under construction which was not disclosed (ie pool half empty, pool bar being constructed). ‘Beach club’ playing obnoxious heavy bass music persistently even with 0 guests sitting outside and all that noise translating directly into the rooms. Very expensive prices and unwilling to be more competitive with other bars/restaurants so in 4 nights the bar/restaurant completely empty.

Fantástico
Pros:

Espectacular, fui con mi mamá y nos quedamos pocos días en Tulum y otros días en Cancún, pero la próxima vez me quedaré solo en este hotel Kanan Tulum Hotel , el lugar más bonito de todo México

Hotel was good for a short break. Food was excellent. Photos are deceptive. Well past its prime.
Pros:

Staff are very attentive and all of them know the menus (both for food and drinks) and ingredients.
Nests are a great feature and not gimmicky. We had a fantastic meal for our Wedding Anniversary.
There are enough restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Plenty of beds around the pool and beach area.
Good selection of drinks albeit very pricey. (but that's Tulum)

Cons:

Beach club/restaurant closing around 5pm - before sunset - was a bit of a surprise.
Photos from the website and Instagram clearly show the very best angles from a time long ago when the wood was looking in much better condition. They don't show what the reality is.
The reality is the wooden infrastructure is far past its prime and the hotel has a dated feeling of good times long gone.

y’a beaucoup mieux ailleurs pour le même prix

literie confortable
hôtel accès plage
situation ok avec plein de restos aux alentours

Cons:

mal vieilli, très sombre. odeur humidité dans les chambres. Douche italienne qui fuit dans tous les sens, par chance la douche est énorme.
pas d intimité sur les balcons. balcon pas bien organisé, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre car la première donnais sur un parking avec les poubelles.
installations piscine pas top.
nourriture et boissons chers.
accueil moyen , pas d info dans la chambre sur les 3 restaurants, heures de repas et services. la miss d accueil te balance toute les infos à l arrivée puis rien d autre par la suite.
les installations du bar de plage voulant rappeler la thaïlande mais très mal vieillit, beaucoup d endroits servent de stockage de vieux matelas et autres … ça fait un peu décharge.

I would return! It was a quick retreat but I had the best time!
Pros:

The organic architecture! I had a shower room with plats and trees, fabulous experience!
Staff are gracious and accomodating.

Great Stay
Pros:

We had a good stay at this hotel overall! The property itself is beautiful, and our room was great, spacious, and with great views (same as the photos). The rooftop to see the sunset is excellent and food is good.

Cons:

The hotel has great location but is located near beach clubs, there can be noise at night, lasting until around midnight. The price is a bit high, but Tulum in general tends to be expensive.
