Poor disclosure of additional fees
Pros:

The location was right next to a Cracker Barrel

Cons:

We were charged an ADDITIONAL holding fee 0f $289.60, plus the $50 “incidental fee”. We were NOT informed of the $289.60 at all at time of check in. Spoke with desk the agreed to refund then 2 days later same charge appeared. Spoke with staff AGAIN and they insisted there was nothing in their system showing the charge. Called Booking.com they stated hotel could only charge/hold a max of $100. Booking.com is launching an investigation. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Room was 78 degrees upon entry at 9pm at night. Air conditioner was broke. Opened window but no screen so bugs got in. Hot and awful. Very disappointed...

Cons:

Too many bugs 🐛 in the room one of my bed and one is on my food . I did not take rest properly there bcz of the bugs. Even I complained about the tap is not working in my room but nobody can come to my room to fix the issue. In the morning during check out the front did not listen my issue, I showed the photos to him and he did react any thing.

the room itself was comfortable and stocked.

Cons:

The breakfast was so-so and a little cold. The location is tucked away through a pothole filled access road past a "gentleman's" shop which confused me as to its access, signage was poor.
The price through booking.com was good, but either I made an error or booking did as it was not the location I thought I was selecting.

It didn’t worth the money I paid! With the same money I could get a much better deal with indoor pool!
Cons:

Laundry room was located next to the guest room and really noisy and annoying.
The outdoor pool was closed WITHOUT announcing before! No indoor pool! WASTING MONEY and time!

Pleasant stay for the most part. We would be willing to return if in the area again.
Pros:

Staff was friendly. Also helpful when our HVAC unit went out they were quick and friendly in relocating us to a different room across the hall. Facilities seemed well cared for as well.

Cons:

Clerk didn't seem to inow how to program the card for multiple days. When we were moved to the other room because of the HVAC, we would return each afternoon and kept having to get our card repreogramed. Wife said the ladies room in the front area was not cleaned over the three day period we stayed. The same trash and paper towels were there each day.

Never using Baymont again.
Pros:

Unable to change the length of my stay WHEN I CHECKED IN. Was told to address the issue in the morning. Morning staff declined to address the issue. Unable to speak to a manager even now (two days after my stay. Billed for days I did not use. Unacceptable bordering on criminal.
