Hotel Washington, DC: Where Cherry Blossom Season Lives Up to the Legend
Pros:

We came for cherry blossom season and Hotel Washington delivered in every way! The location alone changes the entire trip. Washington Monument is a five-minute walk, the Tidal Basin is twenty minutes on foot, and you never have to think about traffic or parking again. Hand off the car to valet (fast, genuinely friendly), and you're done.

We stayed in the Monument View King Spa Suite and woke up to the Washington Monument perfectly framed in the bedroom window. The suite itself is full of artistic intention: floor-to-ceiling Amit Greenberg mural, red lacquered bar, wall-sized TV, spacious seating area, and a marble bathroom with a soaking tub. Great shower. Surprisingly quiet for a city hotel. We slept great.

The lobby is stunning. Original 1917 chandeliers, checkerboard marble floors, cozy seating. We dined at VUE and Fireclay too. Look for our reviews on those.

The staff is where this hotel earns its Forbes rating. From the valet, to the front desk, and housekeeping, every expectation was met.

Looking forward to visiting again.

Great views and great experience
Pros:

Had at a grea experience at Vue rooftop! The vibes were amazing and the menu choices were ample and very well thought. Our waiter Carlos did an awesome job taking care of us!

Great staff and facilities but let down a bit by the bed and room quality considering the price.
Pros:

Loved the facilities, the lobby, and the restaurant. Also fantastic staff for the most part.

Cons:

The beds were a bit less comfortable than you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. Not terrible just nowhere near great. And the walls a bit thinner. Like I could hear my neighbors way more than I’d expect.

Not worth the cost
Pros:

This hotel focuses on appearance at the expense of comfort and convenience. I stayed because of a conference at the hotel. I moved before the conference was over.

Pros:

It was a great evening and experience. We had a great time the scene and music were phenomenal. Ferade was an amazing host without outstanding service. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to enjoy a great VUE.
