Wouldn’t stay again.
Pros:

I liked that it was close to the kyoto train station and had coin laundry.

Cons:

“Budget” hotel. It was a very dirty room. The bathroom smelled like urine. I had a nose strip stuck to my sheets, there were crumbs in the bed. This told me they didn’t change the sheets. Overall not very comfortable or sanitary. Per cancelation policy I could not check out early but I booked another room at agora Kyoto.

Nice place to stay in Kyoto - walking distance to the train station, temples, and shopping quarters
Pros:

We really liked this place and enjoyed our stay. The room is good size, there were two separate comfortable beds, as per our booking, a small kitchen facility with all things necessary for fixing a breakfast or a meal. One can use a washing machine and a dryer. The location is close to the Kyoto Station and a waking distance to the temples and shopping quarters.

Pros:

La habitación de muy buen tamaño, tenía hasta una pequeña cocina que sumaba mucho cuando llegabas cansado y queríamos comer ahí, baño cómodo, con el sistema de secado de ropa que amamos ya que nos tocó día de lluvia mal!

Cons:

Buena ubicacion, a 5 cuadras de una estación de tren principal… lo único que las tiendas también están ahí… cerca del hotel ya no hay más nada.
