Spacious apartment with very comfortable beds and quality bed linens. Having access to two balconies was great as like many apartment blocks, windows are not able to be opened (due to safety regulations). Staff were friendly and efficient. The apartment is a little dated but it is clean, safe and quiet. I've stayed in another apartment block nearby, and Summit is much nicer, cleaner and spacious.
The car park is easy to access but it may take a while to find a space as the green hotel spaces are randomly spread throughout the carpark. Central train station and Brisbane CBD is a 10-15 minute walk away.
I booked via Expedia so the staff did not see my message regarding our arrival time - it might be good to place a message on the Expedia booking confirmation to communicate with Summit directly rather than via Expedia.
My only issue is there is only central ducted air conditioning with no temperature control in the apartment. We prefer a cooler temperature especially at night time but thankfully the weather wasn't too hot or humid during our visit.
Nice and close to hospitals
Great customer service
The receptionist was very nice and helpful. It was a nice little and very comfortable studio apartment. The parking was also great.
Very convenient for treatment at St Andrews Hospital . Property is showing some wear and tear but everything was neat and tidy in the room. Staff were friendly. Good to actually have someone manning the reception till 5pm but very easy access after hours. .
Nice room, close to everything. And great to have a balcony with a view.
Very close to where I had to be “St Andrews Hospital. Helpful when I needed my car to park waiting for my wife to get out of hospital after the 10 o’clock check out. Lovely staff
Terrible, any photos of the pool area should be removed, hadn’t been there I’d say in over a year. No outside area, no pool, run down tennis court - refer to photons. Property is tied, needs painting, stained carpet, pins painting through in places. Would not recommend or stay again, lucky it was only for two nights. Catfishing but using current photos. Very disappointing evrn for te money paid.
Had everything I required so I could bring my own food & heat it up.
We booked at the Summit due to its proximity to St Andrew’s Hospital. So convenient. The staff were fabulous.
After reading the reviews and the high rating for cleanliness I thought this would be a good value option. The room was dirty, floors hadn't been vaccumed or mopped and carpets were badly stained. Lots of mould in shower. Reception were very apologetic and gave us another room but it was the same, if we had time to find alternative accommodation we would have
Great location. Spectacular views
They were easy to deal with..
Staff were immensely professional and helpful. I think the property will benefit from some renovation work as some parts of it appear quite dated. Evidence of wear and tear is palpable in certain areas.
Our stay was comfortable and incident free. Check-in was easy, we liked the onsite secure undercover parking. We visited after the drive from NSW and arrived in the rain, so it was good the get out of the car and enjoy the view from the room. We were in brisbane for the tour de brisbane cycling event and to visit some friends. The next night we enjoyed dinner out at the persian restaurant just around the corner across the roma st gardens.
Maybe on our next stay, the pool renovation will be complete and we relax around that.
The room had an old, musty smell. Dirty marks on ceiling and doors/walls. The pool was empty and looked like their had been no water it in for months. The kids were very disappointed. The other area's like tennis court was run down, cracks in cement, weeds, just run down. The gym smelt terrible and machines were old and clunky. The photos looked ok online, but definitely needs a massi e renovation and annnoyed that there was no mention of the pool not being open. Nice to stay so close to the city and suncorp, thats about all.
No shopping or supermarket nearby but I found it walkable to the CBD, however the walk back is very steep.
The receptionist was super helpful with out check in after hours. Easy parking and great stay! Super recommended
I’ll come here again - within walking distance of the city, easy parking, a great view from the top floors and having a kitchenette and laundry was very convenient. Also friendly & helpful staff.
The place is dirty and old. We didn’t get our supplies of laundry liquid, dishwasher powder, blue cloth and green pad for cleaning. The friendly receptionist gave us those after I asked.
