This is my second stay at this fun hotel. Although I live locally, my condo was undergoing a renovation and I needed to stay nearby. This lovely hotel fit the bill completely. My room was squeaky clean, comfortable and quiet. There is easy parking at a very reasonable price for Boston hotels. Although the hotel was quite booked for graduation weekends while I was there, the offerings in the continental breakfast were refilled promptly. There is a large deck just outside the restaurant and in summer weather it is a lovely way to start the day sitting on the deck with coffee and a breakfast offering. I tried the restaurant one night and so enjoyed the slider combo that I went back a second night to order it again! On our first visit we enjoyed the beer and wine taps too. The art murals in every room make you want to peek into every open door to check out the scene. Even though we are local, we hope to come back for another "staycation". The hotel is conveniently located for access to downtown Boston, Cambridge or Watertown.
The Studio Allston was the perfect place for us to host family for a graduation celebration. Easy access to the square but avoided being in the chaotic and traffic mess. The hotel has a great breakfast, coffee and tea around the clock and the staff were so helpful. Jonathan and Jennifer helped us store cakes, get rooms in the same hall and answered our every question. We have stayed here before and whenever we are in Cambridge, this is where we’ll stay.

The dining room was nice and the location because it was near Harvard Yard, comfy beds too
Noisy AC, the breakfast was so lackluster, dirty and old building (the white color doesn’t help), dirty carpets too

Room was noisy. Noise from outside..some kind of construction and very loud noise from the air conditioning whenever the compressor kicks in.
My daughter and her friend stayed there for a conference at Harrvard. The room door was open when they returned to it after they left in the morning!!! That was absolutely terrifying. When uproaching the front desk about it they shrugged them off denying any responsibility. That is enough to qualify the stay as horrible. The breakfast was terrible, stale bagles and plastic plates!!!! They paid more than $400 per night !!!! Will not recommend in any way
Location was good, beds were comfortable. My boys made painting every evening and they love it. Staff are very helpful.

מקום ישן , ההגעה לחדר ממש לא נוחה, עם מעברים בתוך המבנה + מדרגות באמצע המעברים + חייבים להשתמש ב 2 מעליות ישנות ע"מ סוף סוף להגיע לחדר, ממש מבוך , בכל פעם לצאת החוצה , סיפור שלם במיוחד עם המזוודות !
ארוחת בוקר הכי הכי הכי צנוע שראינו , במלונות 3 כוכבים אכלנו ארוחות בוקר יותר טובות !
אסלה בחדר סדוקה מביפנים , מראה לא נעים .
