Not great - barely passable
Pros:

Breakfast was OK, I've had better at other locations within this brand. They failed to disclose an elevator renovation, which was so loud they had to change our room. The public areas are old and worn, the rooms were recently renovated however. The location is excellent, use the public lot across the street to save $.

Cons:

The public space is worn out and beat up looking. Visible wear and tear in public spaces. The large dogs allowed everywhere. Overpriced valet parking, so parked in public lot around the corner.

The elevator didn’t work 90%of the time- there was a very strong overpowering odor in the hallway on our floor (5th) that was hard to take.

Good value in a great location with easy access to all that DC offers
Pros:

The Residence Inn is a few minutes' walk from Bethesda Metro; many good restaurants nearby. My suite was well-equipped and very comfortable.

Pros:

Clean, very pleasant staff. Breakfast was included which was nice, with decent variety to choose from. The hotel proximity to the Metro station (one block away) ;provided excellent travel on the RED subway line and bus lines to/from Wahsington DC in minutes. Automobile valet service was very quick as well.
