The stay was not comfortable
Pros:

Free drink token

Cons:

The air conditioner wasn’t working properly, there was no refrigerator or microwave, the rooms are very small, no iron in the room, the train running through downtown was pretty loud, the gm also didn’t have good customer service and blamed it on not wanting to take the time out to learn the new system they had since he was getting off work in 15 minutes.

A warmer welcome would have improved our experience at this quirky hotel

After a long drive, The valet parking attendant was friendly, quick and efficient.

The location is excellent. A short walk to the restaurants and clubs on Beale Street. Not very far to drive to the other sights in Memphis.
The hotel itself, however, had fun and a quirky vibe. In the communal/ reception area, we enjoyed the pinball machines, games and record player, which gave the property a unique character. The room was also quirky and the bed was very comfortable, which meant a good night's sleep.

Overall, the hotel has plenty of personality and some great features, but a warmer welcome from the reception team would have improved our experience.

Cons:

Unfortunately the reception staff were not as friendly or helpful as we had hoped, which was a disappointing first impression.
