Excellent property with reasonable rates
Pros:

Excellent property with clean space. Room 425 has a great view of the park outside. Small room for a reasonable rate! Comfortable mattresses on a platform bed. Business center on second floor with free printing. Free coffee in the lobby in the morning.
I stayed here because of Marriott loyalty. I’d rather stay at moxie instead of the tired courtyard next door that’s double the price. Although I wish I got more points.

The Moxy was an experience. I most likely would not stay there again.
Pros:

The location was close to many attractions.

Cons:

The front staff guy was really friendly but he didn’t use gloves nor wash his hands while making my drinks. We didn’t even drink them. It was unsanitary. Also, the beds were hard. We slept so uncomfortably. The valet service was worth the $36. They were prompt and polite.

Progressive, Bougie, Anxiety
Pros:

Moxy Memphis Downtown has comfortable beds, they're very firm and support heavier more round people like myself easily. It's easy to navigate, and our corner room had a good view with one way mirrored windows to the outside. The price was also acceptable in comparison to other nearby hotels. It's been recently renovated from a Sleep Inn and though I question some design choices it does seem well put together. Two free drink coins that I gave to my family member, as I am not a drinker. Friendly and helpful maintenance staff. Valet parking by PMC had good staff to help when I was booted from their system and comped a nights parking when they lost my rentals keys for a period of time.

Cons:

Well, my 3 day trip was actually ruined by a mistake made by hotel staff. I had already paid in full, non refundable through booking.com I had my receipts proving such. While I was there, in the middle of the night. The hotel fraudulently charged me two sums of money which totaled up over 1k. Capital One caught and blocked the first attempt, the second attempt was even more money and went into a pending status. Both charges happened while I was sleeping on different nights. I would have just left my card locked the first time but I needed to unlock it to pay for the valet only parking.

This had spiked my already high and medicated anxiety into very concerning levels that had me physically shaking for a period of time until I was able to get fresh air on the walk back to the hotel where I spoke with Jessie a manager who, after investigation. Found their front end staff had charged my incidentals ( of which I owed none ) card instead of their booking.com card. When I first checked in I had offered to show the counter woman my receipt and was told no. The two night in a row anxiety spikes left me sick feeling for my last night at the hotel, and I had to check out far earlier in the morning than anticipated due to the persistent ill feeling caused by the hotels mistake. This was days later fixed.

Other than that, the room had no mini fridge or microwave. I understand its Memphis but those are basics I expect from any lodging. The shower, while cool in design did not have a door that sealed properly and the design allows water to get out onto the floor very easily. So your drying the floor after each shower. The listed price of parking on all email correspondents I received prior to booking in did not match the actual price of the parking. Which was higher than advertised. They also seem to host a drag queen bingo which, allow me to be blunt.

Pros:

It was so neatly decorated and eccentric just like me lol

Cons:

The location. I had no idea Memphis had gotten so dirty. The property was nice but I was told about the crime rate and not to be walking around after dusk. I grew up 70 miles north and cane to Memphis all my life. I couldn't believe it was now unsafe to walk to Beale Street after sundown! Incredible but we felt safe while we were staying there for the night.

Easy walk to sights
Pros:

Great location. Quiet. Excellent shower.

Cons:

The bedroom was a little small. There could also have been more breakfast options. They only had free coffee and no tea. There is a Starbucks a few blocks away, however.

Pros:

Clean, good location, but leaky shower and food options limited
Pros:

Cute, younger person vibe with connect four, shuffleboard, games and a fire pit in the lobby, check in is at a bar next to a hang out place where you can listen to records! It is dog friendly! Rooms are quirky as well with tables and chairs hanging from hooks in the wall! It was located a short walk from Beal Street down a clearly lighted street that no cars could go down and businesses on each side! Safe location!!

Cons:

The shower leaked all over the floor and into the room where the bed was getting my stuff that as on the floor wet! The housekeeping staff as well as front desk was alerted ! I managed to dry it all up with a few towels!! No free breakfast, only grab and go options! Valley parking totaled 45 dollars with tax
